It almost seemed like Texas followed me up to Michigan. The sun was coming up somewhere. With the cloud cover I can’t tell which direction is east. It’s 72° and there’s a nice breeze blowing. Seems like what I left behind.
There are differences. Everything is wet here in Michigan. The grass is everywhere and is very green. I can look between two houses across the street and see a lake. Driving here I passed a couple other lakes. Gas costs an arm and a leg. Of course, if you were coming from California, you might think it was cheap.
Travel broadens. It shows possibilities. It shows success and failure. It reminds of how blessed we are.
Get out and take a trip while you still can.
