As I write I am sitting in a chair at the skin surgeon. I just had some skin cancer removed and I got to watch. You might be one of those who pass out at the sight of blood but I have always found surgery interesting. In high school a class had a chance to watch some open-heart surgery. I enjoyed every slice of the blade.
I might as well enjoy it. I seem to have a tendency toward skin cancer. This is number 6 and I assume there will be more.
Now we wait. The method this doctor uses is called Mohs and she explained that means I wait while they analyze the tissue removed to see if they got it all. If the chair were more comfortable I would take a nap but such is not to be.
