Since I was driving cross country I decided to add to the adventure. I had my son set me up with an app to make reservations at motels. At present I am still learning how it works. I hope I don’t have a lot of surprises when I get home.
As you go down all the clicks and questions they give you the option to filter what they show you be certain priorities in your life. One of the filters involves air conditioning. Do they really have hotels that don’t have A/C any more?
Then I got to the part where they wanted to know if it was important that they were LGBQT? friendly. I wonder what that’s supposed to be about. Are there hotels that ask you if you are straight before they give you a room? I can see concern about pets and smoking. I could even see questions about being a serial killer. I am not sure why I would care if they have a warm spot for homosexuals and men who wear dresses.
I guess I am just old fashioned. I can live with that.
