Opus 2026-188: Election 2026: Dream On

Have you heard the fantasy about California electing a Republican governor?  I have not looked up the details but what I hear is the top two vote getters in the Democrat designed open primary are Republicans.  The enthusiasm came from thinking the top two vote getters in the primary would be the final candidates.

Dream on if it makes your day better.

I talked to someone living in California who seemed to be a bit more alert.  He said that as we get closer the Democrats will close ranks, tell certain candidates to drop out and whittle it down to be in the final.  To that I added that we also need to take into consideration that the Democrats will be counting the ballots.

Today I saw that the scenario is already playing out.  It seems that Eric Swalwell of Fang Fang fame is being forced out with accusations of sexual impropriety.  Although I have no trouble believing the accusations, the post I read made it sound like the kind of testimony that was gathered against Donald Trump.  It will be managed by the media in such a way to get rid of an unwanted candidate.

So the process of politics continues.  I will continue to vote and speak out, not because I think it will change things but because it is my responsibility.  I will leave the final results up to God.  Maybe we will see the finger writing on the wall again.

Opus 2026-116: Sic ‘Em

One of the items announced at the State of the Union Address was that vice president Vance would be heading a task force to try and deal with the fraud that is rampant in government.  I wish him luck.  I would suggest that he increase his security details and make sure that everybody is on his team.  He will be in the crosshairs if he gets close to reaching the goal.

I would suggest that one of the first things he should do is sit down with Elon Musk and try to revive DOGE.  They showed remarkable results in the brief time they were allowed to operate.  The geeks that were brought in did an awesome job of revealing waste.  I’m afraid that much of it was swept under the rug.  I think that’s one of the reasons why Musk walked away.  I think he’s enough of a patriot that he would at least throw his influence behind bringing back some of those young people.

I think some people would tell us that it is still in operation.  It may be, but if it is, it is so handicapped with regulations and control that nothing is getting done.  We need a revival of DOGE.  I don’t know if you heard it, but one of the things that Trump said, which I have said so it must be wisdom, was if we could deal with the fraud we might be able to balance the budget.

I disagree with everybody who says we can’t pay off the national debt.  It could be done rapidly if we would stop wasting money and cut out the graft.  The benefits to the average working person would be mind-boggling.  The pain to the average congressman would be even more mind-boggling.

Opus 2026-101: Names Matter

We have been getting a wide range of reports about the names that are supposedly mentioned in the Epstein files and what difference it makes.  We need to understand that just because someone includes a name in an email does not mean someone is guilty of a crime.  It could be something as simple as “Hoover said no to the invitation.”  That speaks of nothing, let alone some evil activity.

But, taken in context, the names can matter.

We should consider some of the emotion stirring graphics proclaimed in memes and soundbites.  We don’t consider them as proclamations of guilt.  We consider them as illustrations of the evil we are dealing with.  The concept of an elderly man approaching a twelve year old girl on a bed, dressed up to fulfill the fantasy of the man sends shivers up my back.  My desire to do something violent becomes very real.  It is a good thing that a know the difference between evidence and accusations.

The names matter.  The evidence matters even more.  There are accusations that most of congress is involved.  Is that a true assessment?  We will not know until a trustworthy body investigates and shares the results.  If there are guilty parties to these repulsive actions then the rule of law is in place to deal with them, and they must be dealt with.

Why?

Because these people are the ones passing laws that determine what is acceptable and what is not.  Do you really think that someone participating in molesting a child is to be trusted deciding anything?  Do you think murderers should be the ones making laws involving murder?  If you can’t trust them with murder can you trust them with tax rates?

So, yes, the names are important.  Let the rule of law engage.  Let it get busy in doing its job.  Remove the perverts and reprobates.  The guilty should be in jail for a long time, maybe forever.  The innocent should be given an apology.  I realize no one is perfect but it is a long way from terrorizing children to being late for work.

Pay attention and remember who helped move things forward and who was an obstruction.

Opus 2025-374: Legal Incubation

I am currently still willing to be patient as I wait for the Trump administration to begin issuing indictments and making arrests.  I want them to build solid cases.  I want every “i” dotted and every “t” crossed.  I don’t want these sleaze bags to be able to squirm out on technicalities.  I understand that takes time.  They keep telling me that they need the time to put the cases together.  OK, I’m willing to trust because I believe that Trump’s team love America, believe in the rule of law, and are seeking justice.

On the other hand, I think there are plenty of bad actors who have have clearly broken the law and need to be processed.  I think of James Comey who gave testimony on public TV and admitted to passing on classified information to a news recorder.  I understand that that is illegal. If I did it I would be in jail.  I think it might even be a felony.  We have his open testimony before the entire country.  He may be guilty of many other things, but we already have enough to put him in jail while we continue to process the other issues.

I am willing to wait, but I hope the administration realizes that our patience is getting a bit tested.  Start with some low level people who have clear evidence that they are guilty.  Let some of your junior lawyers try the case.  Put the fear of God and Trump in these criminals and traitors.  The future depends upon you.  We Americans depend upon you.

Opus 2025-337: Headlines: Nothing to See Here

When Dan Bongino looked into the camera and said the tapes had been reviewed and their was no evidence of foul play in the death of Epstein I was willing to listen.  Since I know that enthusiasm and being sure that Hillary did it are very powerful emotions and that Fake News knows no political party, I listened and said, “Okay.”  I had never seen any hard evidence.  I could swallow that...when I first heard it.

Now we have Pam Bondi looking into the camera and with great sincerity saying there was no list in the folder that was on her desk.  She seemed so sincere.  The problem is that we have seen the list with its redactions before.  Why wasn’t it in the folder.  Maybe she was telling the truth because she had an aid take it out and put it in a drawer.  Of course that brings up the question of why it takes three months to discover that there is nothing in the folder. That could have been revealed after a 15 minute examination.

This also brings up the difficulty of understanding why Epstein would kill himself if there was no evidence of wrong doing.  Why does it take three months for an agency of thousands of employees to review a few hours of tape?  Keep in mind that they only had to start at the last time he was seen alive and go to the body being removed from the cell.  All they needed was a couple of hours.  And why did what’s her name go to jail if there was no trafficking?  It isn’t adding up.  I am hoping that Trump will wake up and smell the swamp.  I am hoping that the forces of darkness have not found a way to neuter Donald Trump. We were promised a lot of transparency and so far the cataracts are growing.  We were promised arrests and justice and so far the only ones that stand out to me are the people who vandalized Teslas.  

I was willing to move past Trump pushing the vacine.  I bit my lip at the pork in the Big Beautiful Bill.  This is an issue that cuts to the core of the ruling classes and shakes out hopes that Trump represents.

Opus 2025-108: The Barons Are Back

The revelations of DOGE bring to mind all the accusations directed towards the robber barons of the 19th century.  A lot of accusations were made.  Most of them were false.  The so-called robber barons made themselves rich but by producing wealth, lowering prices, increasing services, providing jobs and in the process enriching the lives of their fellow citizens.

Today’s robber barons reside in all of these government agencies that are literally robbing Americans of their wealth and distributing it to their cronies.  Imagine how a member of congress is elected to office with a normal net worth and in a few years is worth millions.  How about the wealth that people like Andrew Fauci have pilled up.  They bring no benefit to the general population.  All they do is line their pockets.  They produce nothing that increases wealth.  They are the true robber barons.  

They have raised the concept to new heights.

Opus 2025-023: The Midas Touch

Or maybe we should rewrite the story as “The Progressive’s Touch”.

I don’t know how to express the rage and disgust I feel at the Cabal controlling Joe Biden.  Every day brings a new revelation of the pollution in their souls.  I am sure I am not alone among Americans.  The concept of giving George Soros the Presidential Medal of Freedom just leaves me with my mouth hanging open.

Everything that the Democrats and Rinos touch they turn to a pile of feces.  I started a list.

Nobel prize made a joke by Barack Obama.  Actually it was the Nobel committee.  A man of integrity would have turned it down with a, “No thanks, I have not done anything to even make it to your list of nominees.”  
Presidential Medal of Freedom has been downgraded to the level of a get out of jail free coupon.
Science has been settled.
Everything that was fit to print was not.
Higher education moved to the basement.
Welfare nationalized the feet people used to stand on.
Military watered down to become predominately nuts and fruits.
California becomes the ashes state.
Courts import their own kangaroos.
Elections bleed out patriotism.
We have to issue apologies to Banana Republics.

I might as well stop there while my blood pressure is only a little high.

God help us because this government won’t.

Opus 2024-361: Expectations

As I write, it seems that the presidency has been secured by Donald Trump and at the moment it looks like there will be a majority in both the Senate and the House.  Whether the Senate will get better, I have no idea.

Based on past experience, what are some of the things we can expect from the opposition?

First, we need to expect the rhinos to come out of the closet, and perhaps even takeoff their masks.  Don’t be shocked when several senators who have been elected as Republicans suddenly declared that they are crossing over to the other side.  Or they may just quietly boat where their pocketbook is rather than where their responsibility is.  Alaska I’m looking at you.  There could be more than one.

Expect extensive and unending lawsuits.  Expect the press to go on lying the way they have as far back as I can remember.  Remember, it was Walter Cronkite that surrendered for us in Vietnam, not the soldiers.  This is been going on a long time.  It will take even longer to correct it.  I would suggest that if you are doing anything that would direct money towards the mainstream media or the complicent corporations, you seriously consider other options.  Don’t wait for others to do it.

Expect National Enquirer style exposes against anyone who’s trying to keep the republic alive.  Perhaps JD Vance will be declared a voodoo priest.  And perhaps Ted Cruz will be accused and being warm and charismatic.  Remember the picture of Bill Clinton in the blue dress?  Photoshop Trumps face on that.  The options are only limited by the imagination of the America haters and believe me when it comes to hating America they have very vivid imaginations.

Opus 2024-357: Removing the Dross

As I was meditating on how God purifies people, sanctifies them, matures them, and leads them to be what he wants him to be, I was thinking in terms of sanding off rough edges.  That is not the analogy that God gives us in scripture.  He tends to talk about refining.  He’s thinking in terms of making gold and silver pure.

God talks about the dross being removed.  I am not a metallurgist.  I am not an expert in any way in the process of making pure steel, gold, silver, or any other metal.  All I have is kind of general ideas I picked up here and there, some of them from the Bible.

I have this picture of ore being refined to a certain point, and then in order to really purify it you have to make it even hotter and let it sit over a fire for a long time.  The picture I get is that the dross, impurities, slowly rise to the surface.  As the metal is continually heated and the dross continues to rise, the worker will skim off the impurities from the top and discard them.  He will then continue to refine the metal.

My thoughts at this point went to politics rather than theology.  I was thinking about our hopes that Donald Trump would be elected.  One of the common topics of discussion is that he has to get rid of the people who have been polluting our government for so long.  We know that the top ranks are corrupt beyond imagination.  We know there is a self-centered seeking for power in riches that is destroying the liberties of the masses.  One of the ways to reform is to get rid of the impurities.

I think it’s interesting that there seems to be a parallel between purifying gold and getting the government into the condition it needs to be.  It seems that the pollution, the corruption, the dross rises to the top.  At that point, it must be skimmed off.

I would urge President Trump if elected to skim off the dross.  At this point it has been very consistent in rising.  Skim it off.  Wait a while.  Skim it off again.  And as the dandruff shampoo label tells us, repeat.

There will probably be a steady supply of impurities rising to the top.  Keeps skimming.

Opus 2024-295: Headlines: The Left Eats Its Own

I noticed that the Mayor of New York, Eric Adams, has been indicted.  The list of accusations include different aspect of bribery and money laundering.  Two thoughts,

Keep in mind that those of us who believe in the rule of law still believe that a man is innocent until proven guilty.  Even though I have no reason to think that Adams is on the side of the angels, who ever heard of a Democrat angel, he still deserves the benefits of the Bill of Rights.  At least they are accusing him of real crimes instead of fake crimes like they threw at Trump.

Second, I wonder what he did wrong that turned the weaponized justice department against him.  Did he come out as reasonable on one of their schemas?  Did he threaten to take a stand against the country controlling cabal?  Surely he must have gone against the deep state somewhere.

Even if he is guilty of the accusations they seem mild compared to what the rest of the elite seem to be getting away with.  It is certainly small potatoes to what the Bidens have done.  It could just be that the left needs to eat its own and he is on the bottom of the food chain.  While they reel him in they might not have time for you.

Opus 2023-266: The Payoff

Texas just went through an attempt to remove a very popular Attorney General.  It was political skulduggery at its best, or worst.  How was Ken Paxton impeached by a Republican controlled state assembly?  The outrage was heard from panhandle to the gulf but he was still impeached.  Eventually the Senate exonerated him but how does something like this happen?  It is a good question to ask as we have watched the U.S. House of Representatives select a speaker.

Payoffs to Rinos

The Democrats are clear and united in their objectives.  Power and control.  They march together.  In Texas they were a minority in the assembly but they only needed ten votes to pass just about anything they wanted.  If the Republicans had been true to their stated principles the Democrats would have been helpless.  

Enter personal ambition.  Enter the Rinos.  The Rinos wanted money for new programs.  They wanted to be in control but they could not get the rest of the Republicans to go along.  If they came out too strong they would not get reelected.  So they made under the table deals.  They colluded with the Democrats to elect a speaker and the payoff is voting for their programs.  The Democrats picked a Rino that they wanted to have the gavel.  He could not be nominated by the Republican caucus but if his name came up in the actual election and all the Democrats voted for him then all it took was ten Rinos to get him elected.  After that it only took ten Rinos to go after Ken Paxton.

We have seen the same dynamics going on in congress.  It kept Jim Jordan from getting elected as speaker.  All it took was a few Rinos to deny him the position.  The real miracle is that Mike Johnson was able to emerge from the caucus and get all the Republican’s to vote for him.  The fact that he is a good choice is seen by the vitriol that is being slung on the wall to see if any of it will stick.  

There is little we can actually do about what happens behind closed doors in Washington or your state capital.  What we can do is eyeball the primary elections and work to eliminate the Rinos so that what goes on in secret is consistent with our desires.  

Elections matter, even when they cheat.  The primary season is on the way.  Pay attention and pray attentively.  Make a difference.

Opus 2023-173: Headlines: One More Left Hanging

At least one Republican tried to bring accountability to members of congress according to the Daily Wire.  Anna Paulina Luna tried to get the House of Representatives to censure Adam Schiff for his lies and abuse of power when he was leading the charge to destroy Donald Trump.
 
As we have come to expect, the measure failed even though the Republicans control the House.  How did it fail?  One word:  Uniparty.  A solid group of Republicans have no interest in the law or justice.  All they want is political power, so instead of using the law to bring about justice they voted with the Democrats to kill the bill.

With leadership like this we might ask ourselves where we can find people to bring this country back to greatness.

Vote like it makes a difference, there is always a chance.  Think carefully before you vote for any incumbent at any level.  The only thing that will wake most of them up is being afraid of losing their cushy jobs and perks.

Pray.  Vote.  Speak up.

Opus 2023-157: Long Live the King

We glibly toss off the statement that pure democracy does not work.  In reality we don’t know because pure democracy is like Utopia, it has never existed and probably never could exist.

When we say it does not work we are referring to the ancient attempts of Greece.  Keep in mind that those democracies were slave cultures with a heavy dose of class awareness thrown in.  Large percentages of the population were not considered citizens.  Add, or more accurately, subtract women from the mix and you end up with a small percentage having the franchise.  Yet they were proud to call themselves “democracies”.

Our original system was a federal republic, not a democracy.  It was designed knowing that people would try to use the vote to corrupt the system and gain power for themselves.  Many have tried and some have had some success but we have now come to a time when it seems that people wanting to do the right thing are a small minority.  Powerful people routinely ignore the rule of law when it is convenient and then throw the book at anyone who disagrees with them.  We see Trump supporters being given multiple year sentences for what amounts to first offense trespass at the worst.  At the same time violent anarchists who are literally burning down cities get released with a slap on the wrist, if that.  I think they might get released with an apology and a voucher for dinner.

I think I am becoming a monarchist.  History is full of kings and emperors.  Some did well.  Some did poorly.  There are no guarantees.  If the deep state folks keep pushing the odds are there will eventually be a violent reaction and I would say the probable result will be some kind of one man rule.

Maybe anarchy has its place.  We live in a day when modern firearms make it possible for almost anyone to defend themselves.  No longer do the biggest muscles win.  It would be a constant battle between people who want to be left alone and people who want to mess.  My guess is that we might run out of messers after a time.

Keep praying.  Keep voting.  Keep speaking up.

Opus 2023-107: Gangrene Alert

Gangrene is a rot that sets in when infection gets out of hand.

We are facing a rot in our society that is begining to go to gangrene.  We might have treatments today that were not around in the past but historically the only treatment for gangrene was amputation.  It was necessary because nothing could reverse the rot and if it got to your central organs you were dead.

The simple solution to what we are experiencing is to remove the rot, but there are problems involved in doing that.  

In the past we have used the rule of law.  That was in the days when the rot did not effect our courts and justice system like it does now.  Now trying to rely on due process and an honest system is like using the rag you used to clean your toilet to wrap a cut on your leg.

Amputation may be necessary but there is a difference between our streets and the medical tents of the Civil War.  The problem with social amputation as opposed to medical amputation is that the social is done with a two-edged sword and the medical with a single edged scalpel or saw.  No doctor expects a dying patient to jump up and begin strangling him with the oxygen hose.  That is what happens when you try to remove the rot with violence.  

Keep in mind that the rotten leg does not care about the rest of the body.  In fact you might get lost in a fantasy where your leg would rather kill the whole body than die alone.  That is the attitude we are dealing with.

I hope we can find some judges and DA’s who would rather save the patient than do the easy way.

Opus 2023-057: Critical Mass: Ignoring the Obvious

The average American has a hard time understanding the existence of real evil.  We have gotten so used to routine unrighteousness that the depravity being initiated around us goes unnoticed.  It is like being inside a well insulated house when it begins to rain.  The storm builds and sometimes it isn’t until a bolt of lighting takes out the electricity that they look out and say, “My, it is raining hard.”

What kind of evil is going on?  Abortion is obvious.  You don’t need to dig too deep to see how medical doctors reach into a womb with metal instruments and begin to tear the baby inside limb from limb.  Trafficking in children for all kinds of insidious uses is going on under our noses.  It is ignored.  The surgeries being done on children too young to even know what gender is all about are an abomination.  The killing of thousands from hidden side effects on a chemical injection called a vaccination is lied about and covered up.  The catch and release program of the legal system which is often don’t even catch.  

How do these things start?  Often slowly and step by step.  I was accosted by a young man bun in the parking lot.  He was very dramatic.  He wanted a donation for some anti-bullying program.  How can you say “no” to such a noble cause?  Having been a public school teacher and seen what the last lessons in the program were, it was not hard.  They are smoke screens for advancing the homosexual agenda.  After I retired they started bringing in the pronoun of choice nonsense and that proceeded to identifying as and finally to destructive surgery.  Yes it is a slippery slope.  And they will be coming for your children if you don’t stay off the radar.

Evil exists.  It is all around us.  It feeds on our naivety.  The only antidote in most of the world through most of history has been the sword.  In cultures that have been saturated with righteousness then people serving the Light, God, are a natural protection from the deeds of darkness.  The problem is that too many people have abandoned the light and think that they can get away with it.  It does not work that way.  

There is a critical mass necessary for civil society.  We have crossed the line and continue to move into the world of the satanic.  Society will not recover unless we as individuals take the steps to recover.  I think God is going to let us decline until enough people feel enough pain to repent.

(2Ch 7:13-4 KJV)  If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

This was written to Israel but I believe the principle applies to any nation where enough people call upon the Lord.

Opus 2023-041: Headlines: Sun Rises in the East

Actually the headline said that they found no classified documents in President Biden’s beach house.  Are you surprised?  Are you shocked?  Keep in mind the search was done by the FBI which serves under an appointee of President Biden.  Yes, the same FBI that can’t find the list of people who went to Epstein’s island and didn’t know where the lap top was.

It is a sad day when you have absolutely no trust in the government agency responsible for the law or the media that reports on it.

Opus 2022-336: Wish Fulfillment

Have you ever had those times when you wish you could have talked to God about how He was putting creation together?  You know the kind of thing, “Lord, could we leave mosquitos out of the mix?”

There are times when I think the Bible could have been written a bit clearer.  We could have cleared up the conflict between Calvinists and Arminians.  

Or maybe we couldn’t.  

Maybe the depths of truth sometimes require seeming contradictions.

But lets go to those people who have wanted to rewrite the Bible.  Thomas Jefferson and his famous Scissors and Glue Version (SGV) come to mind.  Cults like the Jehovah’s Witnesses are also in that camp.  If Jefferson were alive today he would see his dream becoming reality.  

We are in the process of finding out how the world would be different if these factions had been more successful.  The traditional foundations of our society are being powdered and diluted.  The family is on the rocks.  Sexual perversion seems to be in the driving seat.  The rule of law has become a facade.  The roots for this transformation are to be found in the way in which the Christian faith has been prostituted by people who know exactly what they are doing.  Some things the Bible is very clear about and yet these people claim to have a better wisdom.

We are overwhelmed with liberal’s wearing the fleece of God:  Pastors, authors, scholars, general gurus have all gotten on board to destroy the faith of the Bible.  It is pure hypocrisy.  The names keep changing.  A few years ago the Emergent Church was denying Biblical truth.  As people caught on they did what liberals do and rebranded themselves.  They now like the handle Progressive Christianity.  

They want to leave out the harsh parts of God’s revelation.  They don’t like the fact that God hates sin and will punish sinners.  They have changed Agape into a woke version of The Little Mermaid.  They say we are all good inside.  They teach things that Christians should find as abominations.

The results?  Watch the headlines.  Look around you as you pass through your neighborhood.  Listen to the quiet conversations in your family and friends.  It is not a pretty picture but it is one that has been played out many times.

Pray for our country.  Pray for the church.  Pray that you would be part of the godly solution and not be seduced by the Satanic forces.

Opus 2022-302: A Party Whose Time Has Gone

If I had the power I think I would dissolve the two major parties in the United States.  Of course I don’t have that power but maybe if enough of us went with the idea.  What made me think this way was a comment by Nassim Taleb in Antifragile.

“What is plaguing us in the United States is not the two-party system, but being stuck with the same two parties.  Parties don’t have organic built-in expiration dates.”  p. 104, Emphasis in original.

I am sure you have all heard the term “uniparty” that infers there is not real difference between the Republicans and the Democrats.  Obviously that is not true in the ideal sense.  All you need to do is read the party platforms and listen to what they say they believe.  The problem is not in the parties but in the people who are locked in because they have not had an original thought since the first time they were asked what kind of cake they wanted for their birthday.

You have met them I am sure.  I recently heard about an elderly lady who was pro-life, anti CRT, believed homosexuality was a sin, opposed sex change operations for minors and so forth.  In addition she claimed she was a Christian.  She was going to vote for her local Democrat congresswoman.  The politician made no attempt to hide that she was opposed to everything this lady believed in but the lady thought she was a nice person.  And a Democrat.  

We all know people like this.  On the other side we have people claiming to be Republicans who don’t believe in anything that the party stands for.  These are the voters, not the politicians.

Maybe we could have a system where you would go on line, enter your position of issues and be told who would be the best candidate.  Of course that would involve computers and the internet so you would have the same problems we are having with voting machines now.

It might be enough to just have the politicians hide which party they were affiliated with.  That would force people to look beyond labels and into issues.  The main problem with that is it would require thinking.  On the up side, if they were required to think then a lot of low information voters would not bother.

Call me a heretic, but I think that might be a good thing.

Opus 2022-248: Headline: Get Ready for the Sacrifice

One of the recent stories has to do with an FBI agent either resigning or getting the boot.  He has a checkered past of partisan posts on social media.  I first saw it in the Daily Wire.

He is the sacrificial lamb being offered to shield his superiors.

“Thibault in particular hid evidence from FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland in order to win their approval to open an investigation of former President Trump, according to Grassley.”

I would suggest that we will soon see a headline about his suicide.

Opus 2022-138: Be Post-Hanlon

By now I am sure that most of you, being intelligent conservatives who seek out non-fake news, have come across the many reactions to Elon Musk buying Twitter.  One of the clearest statements of hating American freedom was on MSNBC and is discussed on The Daily Wire.  I think this is a good time to refute conventional wisdom.

I refer to Hanlon’s Razor.  It says,

“Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.”

I think people who believe in traditional concepts of morality need to get a grip and embrace the proper understanding of that concept in modern American media and Proregressive* politics.  It does not have a place.  I suggest that we instead start chanting,

“Don’t attribute to ignorance what is clearly evil.”

Don’t make excuses.  Don’t try to be understanding.  It doesn’t work with these people.  The reason they study the rules of a game is to figure out how to cheat.  They always want to be the banker in Monopoly and the dealer in card games.  We need to maintain our standards.  Be honest.  Embrace truth.  At the same time we need to look at their track record.  Someone who has lied to you consistently for years is not going to suddenly become honest.

Accept it.  They are evil, not misguided.
