Do you remember when the phrase, “Get us out of the United Nations” was the motto of the John Birch Society?  Do you remember the John Birch Society?  JBS is a group of people who were labeled as fanatics and radicals.  To this day, I’m not sure if they were conservative or liberal, but they certainly weren’t considered mainstream.  What little I heard of their ideas sounded OK to me, but they couldn’t get any press that wasn’t totally biased.

We’re now hearing this call from more and more places.  I would join my voice if there was a place to actually have someone listen.  I don’t think the United Nations ever served much of a purpose.  It was a nice dream.  So was the League of Nations after World War I.  For that matter, so was the Mickey Mouse Club.  The problem is that no organization without a moral foundation based on eternal truth will ever be able to make a contribution.  The United Nations would look back to the Rights of Man of the French Revolution more than the Declaration of Independence of the American revolution.  They become a tremendous negative force in the world.

Why do we keep funding them?  Why do we allow them to have prime real estate in New York?  Why do we act like they have anything serious to contribute.  When you have committees that are supposed to deal with problems of the world and place countries on it who are the source of those problems, it kind of makes you laughing stock.

So if we’re taking a vote, and the resolution is, “We should pull out of the UN”, I would vote yes.

Opus 2023-095: Plow and Crown: Welcome Back, Serfs

There is a tendency to move people away from owning things to downloads and cloud storage.  I am thinking specifically of software and music.  My fear is that the God-Kings of the WEF want to extend the sharing to everything I thought I owned.  With current technology hackers can access your computer and delete whatever they want.  When the government forces us all to digital currency that means that they are the hackers above the law and they can wipe you out with the click of a mouse.  Then the title deed to your home and the registration for your car will become all digital.  This would be a dream come true for the Progressives*.  

This is similar to the historic pattern.  In the past all land belonging to the king, the church or nobility and the average person could be displaced at the will of the elites.  What the midlevel socialists don’t seem to understand is that the king also had this power over the nobles.  One of the reasons why America was such a beacon of liberty to the world was that a peasant farmer could come here, work hard and become a property owner.

Get ready for the return of feudalism.  Think of the millions who are already living in some kind of housing paid for by the government either through direct ownership of subsidy.  Think of the millions either not working or working menial jobs because the government is seeing to their needs with free medical care and subsidized food.  Think of all the hoops people will need to jump through in order to keep the goodies flowing.

I encourage you to look for physical alternatives to digital possessions.  Today it is your software.  Tomorrow it will be your liberty.

Opus 2021-215: G7 Is More to Be Feared than G5

Conspiracy theorists worry about G5.  While I accept that radiation is a problem, I am not sure how this is going to rot our brains any more than our cell phones.  They need to worry more about G7.  Our overlords are consumed with taxing everything that moves.  The latest being reported is that the G7 group has declared they need to tax multinationals.  

Why are the elites so set on taxing?  They have to know that there is a level that discourages profit and prosperity.  We have reached that, maybe gone past.  They don’t care.  What people don’t seem to understand is that part of the mentality of the elites is that they will always be on top and thus will always have steak.  Go through history and look at the classic famines.  Did people starve and die?  Yes.  Did the leaders starve and die?  No.  In fact they probably gained weight.  Some, like Marie Antoinette, may have been just ignorant.  The answer to those who can get no bread is of course, “Then let them eat cake.”  After all, that is what the elites do.

The Proregressives* really want it that way.  They consider themselves smarter and assume that they will be the ones making the decisions and getting the big pieces of the pie.  They assume that you will submit to being reduced to peasants and serfs again.  They hate capitalism that generates enough profit for them to skim it off with enough left for the common people to live in comfort and have choices.  They love socialism that lets them simply steal from the masses and leave them to struggle to keep starvation and freezing away with whatever is left.  

The socialistic way of looking at things assumes that the elites will have all the power and will take what they want at the point of a gun.  They assume they deserve no less and you deserve no more.  If they can do it to a law abiding people, such as we have been, then they will tax until the turnip runs out of blood.  Then they will kill the golden goose.  Then they will pass laws against hoarding or keeping cash under your bed.  Better yet they will do away with cash and keep track of what you deserve in a central digital depository.

We have a lot of adventures ahead of us if the group now in control of our governments can maintain power and Balkanize the population.  Stay alert.  Speak up while you still have a chance.  Vote the suckers out if they have not totally corrupted your local elections.  If they have done so then research the Battle of Athens.  It doesn’t take too much awareness to see how HR1, HR5, AFT rulings and Supreme Court weaseling and the direction things are being pushed.  Let us hope, pray and act in such a way that the push does not succeed.

Opus 2021-033: Chips without Salsa

My grandparents were paranoid.  They went into a panic when FDR forced everyone to get a social security number (SSN).  There were so many of them that the Feds were forced to include legislation making it illegal to use the SSN for any purpose other than their social security account.

What was the fuss all about?

(Rev 13:17 KJV) And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

And notice that modern technology strikes again.  When the SSN was given out it was printed on a piece of paper you carried in your pocket.  Now we have talk about chipping everyone.  After all, if the chip with its RFID identifier is implanted in your forehead then when they take your temperature to let you in the building it can check to see if you have been vaccinated.  The technology is already in place.  Think of pets that are being chipped so they can be brought home.  Think of the way in which media can track your movements by the chip in your phone.  When it is in your forehead you are good to go.

Notice what Revelation says about that in the previous verse,

Hysteria you say?  Paranoid you say?  Keep in mind that observation that just because you are paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get you.

How is it working out for you?  Have you been to the doctor lately?  Have you filled out any paperwork for anyone?  What is always one of the blanks?  SSN.  Most people are not aware that they can refuse to share it.  The nice secretary will argue with you but eventually give in.  In addition it is the law now that when your children are born they are required to be assigned a SSN.  That has come into effect since my children were born.  The needle keeps moving and the next place it will penetrate if your right hand or forehead.

One of the disturbing things about prophecy is when it seems to be so right on 2,000 years later.

Opus 2020-110: Monday Pulpit: Chips of the Beast

If you are a Christian and getting nervous pat yourself on the back.  If you are not a Christian and wonder why Christians are getting nervous it is because you haven’t read the book.  I am referring to a growing voice calling for every person to carry an ID to show that they have been vaccinated.  For the Progressives* this is a dream come true.  It will allow them to expand their control to levels that the average citizen cannot comprehend.

Most people have seen the number 666 used in ways they may not understand.  Others have heard of something called the “mark of the beast”.  These are flags that are found in the Bible to designate the final world government that is prophesied to arise to destroy God’s people. 

You need a little Bible quoting to get this.  Keep in mind that this was written thousands of years ago.  There are a number of references to beasts in Revelation but one we are concerned with is in chapter 13.

The prophecy says that everyone will be required to receive this mark.

(Rev 13:16-17 KJV) And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:  And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

When you hear people talking about government issued, digital ID and doing away with cash this verse pops into people’s minds if they are familiar with the Bible.  Notice that you will not be able to buy or sell without this mark on your body.  The ideas being put forward by Bill Gates and Dr. Fauci fit right into this scenario.  Where does the 666 come from?

(Rev 13:18 KJV) Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

You have seen the memes that have German soldiers stopping people and examining their papers.  If you have never traveled much you might not realize how much other governments are already doing this kind of thing.  In most countries the police have the right to stop you any time and demand your “papers”.  If you travel you will often be required to turn in your passport at the desk of the hotel or at least have it registered. 

One of the reasons I am against a government issued national ID is because of the ability it gives the government to track you and control you.  Picture how this would go if all your transactions required a chip to complete.  Some little man with a Napoleon complex, sitting in an isolated office who has just had his wife humiliate him in public will be able to decide if you should be able to buy a ticket to leave on vacation.  If you think the IRS or DMV are hard to deal with just picture dealing with something like this.

If you have nothing to hide and are happy with your cable and six pack, it is possible that you will never notice...until you do and then it will be too late.

Don’t let the hype over another flu season allow you to give away your liberty.

Opus 2019-152: Election 2020: Reinstate the Alamo

As I sit in the airport I keep hearing PR blurbs to promote San Antonio.  One of the often mentioned attractions is the Alamo.  That is interesting because the political leaders have been doing everything they can to drain the Alamo of any meaning to Americans.  There used to be an annual ritual of locals to go to the plaza in front of the Alamo and have a family picture taken in front of a huge Christmas tree.  The city fathers, in their infinite wisdom, decided to relocate the tree to a little park somewhere else.  The reason?  I never heard one worth remembering. 

In addition to that the Alamo is now or will be soon a UN World Heritage site.  This is an ongoing thing around the world.  In the process the history will be rewritten to eradicate anything that might make the United States look good.  It will become the location of an atrocity rather than a symbol of patriotism.  If you check you will find that there are a growing number of National Parks that are being moved under the umbrella of the UN.  I was shocked when I visited Smokey Mountain National Park and found out that it was a UN site.  In defense of the UN they did have a circle on the ground labeled a “Free Speech Zone” in which I could exercise my First Amendment right. 

I would like to submit as a campaign issue the reclaiming of American landmarks and natural resources for Americans.  I don’t think most Americans are aware that the Grand Canyon is no longer an American wonder but a product of their benevolent world government.  I think this would be a winner for anyone running for office who loves their country.

Foreigners would always be welcome and encouraged to visit.  They need to know that they are in America.

Meanwhile, remember to vote the suckers out.

Opus 2018-213: Headlines: Two More for the Donald

The Washington Free Beacon gives two reasons to continue to “put up” with Donald Trump.  The new one is the announcement by John Bolton that the United States would no long offer any support or cooperation with the UN joke called the International Criminal Court (ICC).  Its real name should be The Communist Anti-American Committee.  Like so many UN organizations it started with a lot of great ideals and immediately became another joke. 

The second reason is one that has been in the news for a few days, if you get your news from people who actually report.  President Trump has announced he is going to shut down the office of the Palestinian Liberation Organization in Washington, D.C.  That office is another example of a good idea that turned out to be a waste of time. 

Remember we have elections coming up in November.  Remember that if the Democrats gain seats they will cripple the attempts of Donald Trump to Make America Great Again.  He already has to fight the press and most of the Republican party.  While it is amazing what he has achieved in the face of all that resistance, he does not need the challenge of a total Democrat roadblock.

Elections have consequence.  I believe Obama said that when he won.  Of course he forgot all about it when he lost.  Lets refresh his memory.

Opus 2018-184: Headlines: Warning Flag

Is anyone having trouble with this but me?

When I saw clips of the ceremony involved in returning the remains of the American servicemen who were MIA’s from the Korean War I noticed that they were draped in blue and white United Nations flags, not the Stars and Stripes.  I asked myself, “What gives here?”  I realize that the Korean War was fought under the cover of the UN but these casualties were Americans who thought they were fighting in the name of America. 

I did not see anything about the arrival in the United States but my hope is that the disgraceful rag of the UN would be removed and replaced by Old Glory before they actually made it home.

Opus 2018-051: Conspiracy, Anyone?

I don’t have a membership card in the Tin-Foil Hat Society but today I am going to apply for a one day guest pass.

In case your taste in viewing is a little more sheltered than some, you need to know that there is a plethora of people publishing video blogs who are convinced that the deep state is poised to overthrow the duly elected president of the United States and put the resources of America at the disposal of a One World Government.  One of their themes is that the CIA and FBI have sold out the citizens of the country and are at the root of most of the crime and corruption in the country.  They talk about human trafficking and the sale of body parts.  They have linked almost every president back to George I and they are all out to bring down Donald Trump.  On a bad day they think that Donald Trump is in on it too.

One of the theories they are throwing out is that the recent school shooting was actually done by the FBI and the Cruz kid is just their dupe.  It sounded crazy to me.  It sounded like Tin Foil Hat time.  It was laughable.

Then I find out that there was a sheriff’s deputy on the school grounds during the entire shooting and instead of engaging the shooter he hid.  That also does not make sense.  He was not a new cop.  He had received rewards for how well he worked with the kids which means to me that he would have some emotional involvement with them.  Why would a seasoned cop hide from a kid who only had his gun for a few weeks? 

Maybe he wasn’t hiding from Cruz.  Maybe he saw a group of organized and obviously trained men executing children and realized he was dead meat if they ever became aware of his presence.  Maybe the Tin Hats have something.  If you read the article about this officer it says that he has resigned and is being guarded by six deputies.  The reason is to protect him from the public.  Do you need six officers to protect someone from a bunch of high school snow flakes?  Maybe they are protecting him from the FBI.  Sounds crazy, doesn’t it?  And now we find there were at least three more deputies cowering outside the school.

I have not been reading everything about the shooting but in what little I have seen there are no eye witnesses to Cruz actually doing the shooting.  Have I missed it?  Then you have the video of the girl who said she was talking to Cruz as the shooting started.  Is she still alive or has she committed suicide or died in a plane crash?  Sure he confessed but with all of the mental problems he obviously has would that be hard to coerce?

Why would the FBI do something like this?  Why do they do a lot of what they do.  Ask Scooter Libby who did nothing wrong.  Ask Mike Flynn who did nothing wrong.  Ask Hillary Clinton who has broken repeated laws and is still walking free. 

We live in interesting times, tin hats or not.

Opus 2017-142: Headlines: Awesome Unity

Did you hear about the election results of Paris, 90% for one candidate.  That is an awesome display of unity or a clear example of stupid.  Personally I think it sounds a lot like the managed elections of the soviet empire.  Remember those days when you were required to vote and there was only one candidate and no write-in line?  It sounds like they are still with us.

We see similar patterns in the United States in large cities controlled by the Democrat machine.  I remember one of the elections in pre-statehood Missouri where there were around 3,000 registered voters and 6,000 votes were cast for the pro-slavery Democrats.  It must have been full of issues that concerned the local zombies.

Since it was France and its capital, I am willing to believe there might be that much group think but not anywhere else in the “free” world.  Next time you hear someone complaining about the partisan politics we have and how we are a divided country remember that is a mark of freedom.  It is also a sign that we are not French.

Opus 2016-253: Discernment Watch: Those Pesky Judges Are At It Again

Since we have at least four members of the Supreme Court who salute the laws of other countries over the Constitution, we have some dangerous precedents being set, this time in Kenya.  The story is in World.

If it is on your radar you know that the Anglican church in Africa has split from the world wide communion of the Anglican church over the issue of homosexuality.  The African church has read their Bibles and determined that since they are supposed to be Christians they should follow what the Bible says.  Thus they removed three priests for their homosexual activities.  Now something called “The Employment and Relations Court” has ordered the church to reinstate the priests and pay them their back salaries.  This is a dangerous step for freedom of religion in the world.

Read your First Amendment. 

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

In order to keep the government from establishing the requirements of such things as church attendance, tax supported churches, government appointed pastors and government mandated doctrines those little things called “the establishment clause” and the “free exercise clause” were inserted.  If you look at the remaining freedoms mentioned in the First and Second Amendments and know anything of the religious wars of England you can see how all of those are necessary to guarantee freedom of worship.  The Progressive leaning courts are committed to undermining and destroying that freedom. 

The reason free worship is such a problem to the Progressives is that it places God above the elites of congress and education.  It says that there are limits to government power.  It maintains that the rights we have are “endowed by their Creator” and not granted at the whim of bureaucrats. 

What is a guarantee of freedom for citizens is a threat of limitation to the power of elites.

Be aware of the courts working to take away all of your freedoms.  Keep in mind that it is just to keep you safe.  If is for your own protection.  You need mature, Progressive adults to limit your choices so that Utopia will arrive.

Opus 2016-184: Possibilities

Can it happen here?  Yes.

Will it happen here?  It depends on what you are talking about.

If you are talking about terrorist attacks like Nice, the answer is obvious.  It has already happened here.  Remember 911.  And the use of vehicles by Muslims to kill isn’t new either.  Google it.  One of the reports you will find from 2006 was at the University of North Carolina.  And of course Orlando is fresh on our minds.  It has happened and it will continue to happen.  Our choice is in whether we have labeled gun free zones like Orlando where many Americans die or unlabeled armed citizen zones like in Texas where only terrorists die.

What about a military coup against the government?  It could happen, anything is possible ,but we have a number of factors that make it unlikely.  First of all any group of military officers who want to take over the country know how well armed the population is and how many citizens have served in the armed forces.  While I concede that no citizen would have much chance against a group of special forces commandos, there are not enough of them to take over the country even if they agreed to follow illegal orders.  The Second Amendment was there to keep such a thing from happening.

We also have an organization of the military that works against a coup.  The rank and file of our armed forces are moved around from unit to unit enough that it would be hard to find the kind of blind loyalty to leaders that would make such a think workable.  Soldiers swear allegiance to the
Constitution not their commanding officers.  Historically regiments were made up of people from one area and recruited by a local celebrity.  We don’t do it that way.  In some countries a unit will have a tribal identity that leads to blind obedience.  When you have a military unit of 1,000 with citizens from 35 different states is encourages national loyalty.

We have a tradition of civilian leadership.  In most of the third world the political leaders have come to power by way of a military take over.  It is the way things are done.  No one is surprised.  That is not the tradition of the West.  Even a dictator like Hitler was elected by the people not selected from the ranks of the generals.  It would be more likely for the president to declare martial law and suspend civil rights than for the military to step in and take over on their own.  Of course some people are afraid Obama will try that but I remember the same fears about Clinton and I imagine the Democrats had the same panic about Regan and Bush.

Our soldiers are not just spear carriers.  While I know that there are a fair share of knuckle draggers in uniform there are also a large number of well informed and educated Americans.  They are patriotic and serve to guarantee liberty not to impose martial law.  While education does not guarantee your motives or actions it can make you more aware of the issues and less likely to follow blindly.

Can it happen?  Yes.  Will it happen?  I don’t expect it.

If you are worried, enlist and serve.  Be part of the guarantee.

Opus 2015-246: Headlines: A Wake Up Call?

If you insist on remaining asleep, nothing will wake you up.  If you are keeping an open mind it probably means nothing will penetrate.  If you are aware there is a problem, here is another step in the direction of destroying all pretense of moral fiber in our culture.

This comes from England and involves European Convention on Human rights.  The article is found in The Independent.  It involves an English Lord who is accused of “child sex abuse” and his lawyer is claiming that making him appear in court would “be a breach of his human rights”.  I have no idea how strong the evidence is or whether he is innocent or not.  He is not the issue.  The issue is that a European lawyer is trying to use European law to justify molesting children.

There are a lot of nuances and special circumstances so you might be inclined to claim this is straining at gnats and swallowing camels.  I see you point.  See mine.  The Supreme Court of the United States has been taking into consideration international law in deciding cases.  In my opinion that is treason, but put that aside for today.  What is more important is to understand that we live in a system of Common Law in which decisions are based on precedent from other court cases.  What lawyers look at is not what the law says but what the judges say about the law.  Thus, when a court in England starts carving out new ground in regard to what most would consider sexual perversion we need to sit up and take notice.

What happens in England does not stay in England.

Homosexual marriage, euthanasia, prostitution, legalizing drugs, unisex bathrooms, metrosexual military.  The list goes on.  The enemies of traditional and Biblical values keep pushing.

Will it never stop?  No.

Elections matter.

Opus 2015-228: Headlines: Praise for Making the Trains Run on Time

The link from the Independent draws your attention with this blurb:

“It's anti-women, anti-migrant workers and anti-free speech... and it's just been named the most efficient government in the world”

You gotta love these international groups that want to praise the third world.  They have now decided that Qatar has the most efficient government in the world.  To be fair, as you read the article there is some doubt cast on the choice. 

Remember Rwanda?  Remember the Tutsi?  Remember the Hutu?  Remember the Alamo?  (just seeing if you are awake).  This international organization also lists Rwanda as number seven on their list of efficient governments.  I am going to guess that they are able to be efficient because they got rid of all those lazy Tutsis. 

These are the type of international, UN organizations that the Obama administration has given the green light to take over control of the Internet.  They are the ones that the Progressives want to give control of the seas and your children.  They are the reason we have been afraid to give the president fast-track ability on the trade treaty.  They have a mantra:  USA, bad; America haters, good.

Keep in mind the observation that a dictatorship is the most efficient form of government.

Opus 2014-320: Headlines: We All Need Connections

Liberty is slipping away.  The Progressive fascists in government (aka liberals, moderates, Rinos, socialists, communists) are working overtime to protect us from ourselves.  This ranges from taking away our ability to defend ourselves, limiting our movement, and forcing us to the doctor of their choice.  It also includes protecting us from information that might upset us and even make us think.  In extreme cases it might make us vote the suckers out.  Remember, they care and want us to be happy.

Another important statement to this effect was made by Tammy Bruce in The Washington Times, National Weekly, November 24, 2014, p. 30.  You can find a slightly different version at the on-line link

“This is why the political establishment hates the Internet — it allows regular people, individuals, to change the world. This in itself presents a danger to tyrannical regimes everywhere, and to American administrations that rely on keeping you in the dark.”

You may notice the headlines that have congress trying to “make the internet available to everyone.”  To do that they need to limit access and control costs.  You may have missed that the control of granting domain names has moved from American control.  The United Nations wants to do for information what they have done for economic growth:  Tax, control and limit.

So stay alert.  This is another litmus test.  Anyone who wants to put the government in control of the internet needs to be voted out.  It is a good question to put to presidential wannabees.

Opus 2014-162: New Terms: UPWH

America has been dissolved, according to Democrat Nancy Pelosi. 

Here is a direct quote from Business Insider,

“This is a community with a border going through it.”

It would seem that we don’t have a One World Government but we do have a Half World Government, from Breitbart.

"We are all Americans -- north and south in this hemisphere,"

Does that make us the United Provinces of the Western Hemisphere (UPWH)?  Does the western hemisphere now only get one representative in the United Nations?  Does this make Obama an emperor instead of a king? 

With the Democrats in charge we not only have abandoned the rule of law but our national sovereignty.

Opus 2013-83: Green Pieces: The Vast Myanmar Jungle

The Washington Time, National Weekly has a regular feature called “Inside China.”  I was reading about how the Chinese are getting involved in the politics of one of their neighbors, Myanmar.  (February 11, page 19)  It seems they have volunteered to act as referee in cease-fire discussions between the government of Myanmar and the Kachin Independence Army.  It seems they have been offering refuge for refugees from the conflict and are worried about the violence spilling over.

But their concern is more than that.  They want to keep on everyone’s good side because they are building an oil pipeline through that country.  What caught my eye was the statement that the pipeline went through “the vast Myanmar Jungle.” 

Okay, where is the rage of the green movement?  Why are we not seeing Greenpeace sending out demonstrators to throw their bodies in front of the earth-moving machinery?  Has their been an environmental impact statement?  Are we not concerned about the entire globe, after all we are a village.

Or could it be that the Green’s have an agenda more to weaken the United States and what is left of our free enterprise than to protect the environment?

Opus 2012-255, Cornerstone Considerations: D of I, International Equality, Part 1

We are not just to be separate and different.  We are to be equal.

“to assume among the Powers of the Earth, the separate and equal Station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them,...”

This is a hard one for those of us that believe in American Exceptionalism.  I think it is best expressed by a concept that is grounded in the Bible and has become what we call the “golden rule.” 

(Matthew 7:12 KJV)  Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

This is one of those concepts that you find in many different cultures and philosophies.  It is central the Christian faith and to the American experiment. 

We also have a unique concept of love.  It is also a demand.

(Leviticus 19:18 KJV)  Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

Some point out that you can’t love others if you have a sick sense of self.  It is possible to make too much of that but it has a grain of truth. 

One of the ideas that was at the root of the Great Awakening, and thus central to the thinking of the Founding Fathers, was the idea that all were equal before God.  The teaching of the Great Awakening was based on the idea that we were all equal in Christ.  This finds its highest expression in the writing of Paul.

(Galatians 3:28 KJV)  There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

This did not mean that there were no kings or that men were not the head of the family but it had a sense of equality that brought the kings down and lifted the slaves up.

This is the American sense of “equal.”
