Opus 2020-307: Election 2020: The 17%

One of the popular themes on the internet is that if the media had been honest and covered certain stories then a large number of people would have voted for Trump instead of Biden.  This is a lot of crying over spilt milk that is totally bogus.

First, the information was out there for anyone who was willing to look and wanted to know.  I am always amazed at the number of people who say they never heard something.  I realize I am conservative-heavy on my internet reading but surely these masses of sheep could check on something besides the liberal drivel, at least once in awhile.  Instead of sneering at people who try to inform them they could spend a few moments checking it out and then engage their brain.

Second, and this is the biggest one, it would not have mattered if they had switched their votes.  It is already clear that Trump won a massive victory if you only counted the legitimate votes.  Any one who denies that also believes that Obama stopped the oceans from rising and that our power grid can work on wind power.  I believe it is a fact.  It would not have made any difference if the 17% who claim they would have voted different had actually done so.  All it would mean is that the Progressive* crime machine hiding behind the Democrat party would have had to print a few more ballots.

It is obvious that they stuffed the ballot boxes and had the computer set to give false results.  It is also obvious that the Judges and elected officials don’t care what the vote was.  All they want is a chance to throw the election to the America hating party.  Whether they do it from fanatical ideology, bribes or threats against their children, it doesn’t matter.  They have done all they can to steal the country and destroy our election process.

I have still not abandoned hope.  That does not change any of what happened.

Opus 2020-303: Headlines: The Nays of Texas

The AJ of Texas, Ken Paxton, has filed a suit in the election against four states.  He is accusing them of violating the Constitution by changing the rules of the election without the approval of the legislatures.  Someone, I think it was Rush, said that this case did not need to prove fraud just whether the changes were constitutional.  This is a creative example of what can be done if people who have studied the law will step up and act.

Pray for Paxton.  Remember that there is always a price to pay for resisting the goons of the Progressive Deep State.  Strangely enough, the FBI is investigating him for some kind of issue regarding missuse of political power.  Really?  Comey, Brennen and the rest get a pass and they go after the Attorney General of Texas.  Can any one say “coincidence”?  I think the Deep State knew he was going to make this move and tried to preempt his action.  I remember hearing calls for him to resign.

Deep state manipulation?  Does he have spies in his staff?  Is the swamp this pervasive?  They may simply want to get rid of him because he was supported by the Tea Party.  Their tentacles reach into every corner.  It makes me willing to support him if and when he decides to try for governor.

Will his case be heard?  The Progressive* voices, open and closet, keep saying it won’t work.  The rest of us can be encouraged that the battle is not over yet.  It also makes me think that if the swamp prevails, it may generate enough awareness that there will be hope for the future.

Opus 2020-296: The Dictator Is Unknown

As I read a novel that touched on the foundation of the National Socialists and the rise of Adolph Hitler to power, it was clear that Biden himself is not the danger.

In the Weimar Republic Hitler was at first a minor, ambitious politician.  Paul von Hindenburg was the president.  The big break came when he appointed Hitler Chancellor and which gave him the potential to take power.  The similarity to today is that Hindenburg at this point in history was a doddering old man.  Sound familiar?

The leftist media has been calling Trump Hitler since the beginning.  As I have observed along with many others, if Trump was half the dictator he is accused of being the talking heads would have been lined up and shot years ago.  George W. Bush went through the same treatment.  The closer parallel is that there is someone waiting in the wings to take over from the doddering old Biden.  Harris?  Hillary?  The one who is really behind Biden’s nomination?  I hope we never find out.

Keep in mind that the office of dictator goes back to the Roman Republic.  Dictators were given power by the people.  They did not usurp it or pull a coup.  In a sense they are elected.  Originally they were only to serve for one year.  I don’t think America is ready for that.  At least I can say that the 80 million who voted for Trump are not ready.

Opus 2020-289: Election 2020: Going for the Jugular

We need to keep reminding ourselves that this is not just another election.  The Progressives* are not out just to win in 2020.  At the core of their movement there is a commitment to destroy the America that has brought liberty, opportunity and security to millions.  They really do want a socialist state with every one of us peasants walking in lock step.

We have seen the mask mandate.  We are still in it and if Biden prevails he is promising to make it a federal mandate.

They are going after our traditions.  How many governors and mayors have now declared that we should not celebrate Thanksgiving?  Do you really think that Christmas and Easter will be allowed to go on?

They have gone a long way toward shutting down our churches.  

They have made the democratic processes of our republic into a joke.

They are driving law abiding citizens to have nothing but contempt for the legal process.  Deep state, bought and paid for, DA’s and judges have been letting violent criminals walk free with little or no bail.  That is when they can be bothered to arrest them in the first place.  At the same time they are threatening you if you dare to have too many people in your house for any kind of family activity.

They, the Progressives, are going for the gold.  They have been working and planning for decades.  They have taken over education, the media and the churches.  We, the people, have been asleep at the wheel.  It is time to wake up and start being vocal before they mandate that out of existence.  For many of us that may mean starting to attend church business meetings and speaking up.  I hope you had some great conversations at your Thanksgiving celebration.  I hope you had a Thanksgiving celebration.

Opus 2020-266: Election 2020: The Big Lies

I missed the first 20 minutes of the debate because they changed the starting time.  Two things stood out to me:  Biden’s lies and the moderator’s attempts to support Biden.  

Biden told so many lies and distorted so many facts that it is hard to pick one out.  Most of them have been emphasized in what I have read but one seems to have been overlooked.  It had to do with the question on minimum wage.  I believe Trump pointed out that when the minimum wage is raised employers lay off workers.  I believe this is well documented as well as common sense.  Biden said it was false.  No one has called him on it and they should.  

The second big lie came from President Trump.  It slipped by, I almost missed it.  In the midst of the kibitzing Trump told the moderator something to the effect of, “You are doing a good job.”  I almost gagged at that.  Maybe compared to the previous moderators, but the pattern was still there.  I noticed that when Trump would fire back at Biden she would always ask the VP if he had a response even when she was pretending they were running out of time.  I don’t remember her ever doing that to Trump.  He was forced to demand to be heard.

Both men should be ashamed of themselves.

Opus 2020-255: Election 2020: Six Reasons to Vote for Biden

I have a question I keep asking.  Voters for Biden can’t seem to answer it so I thought, as a public service, I would give them some ideas.

The question is, “Without any comments synonymous with ‘Orange Man Bad’, give me one reason why you are voting for Joe Biden.”  I have yet had anyone do anything but sputter or stare blankly.  So let me give you a few.

1.  You believe it is moral to kill your unborn child.  Even better, once the baby is ready to be delivered you can have the doctor turn him/her for a breach delivery and kill it when everything but the head is out.  You can vote for Joe because he agrees with you.

2.  You have a deep secret hatred for Jews and want a candidate who will do everything he can to destroy Israel.  You think suicide bombers are heroes as long as they are killing Jews or Republicans, better yet, Jewish Republicans.

3.  You believe that everyone who owns a gun is a maniacal killer and that the government should be the only group in possession of firearms.  Of course you also want to defund the police so that they won’t even have firearms.  Antifa doesn’t need guns, they have fire-bombs, lasers and clubs.

4.  You believe that everyone’s taxes should be raised and the extra cash should be distributed to people like you who don’t work or pay taxes anyway.  Joe has promised to do that.  He is sincere.

5.  You want more government regulation.  You want the government to make you safe in every area of your life.  Joe is willing.  He knows what is best for you.  That includes...

6.  Doing away with fossil fuels.  That sounds very important to you, after all, why do we use fossils for fuel anyway.  You may not realize that means gasoline, oil, coal, kerosene, natural gas, propane and any other source of power that comes out of the ground.  It means you will be riding a bus to work if you have a job.  Keep in mind that oil is also the basis of all the plastic products you use and some of the clothes you wear.

You get the idea.  There are many reasons to vote for the Biden/Harris ticket.  I could go on but if that doesn’t give you any fuel for your next discussion maybe it would just be good for you to close your eyes, cover your ears and chant, “Orange Man Bad”.

Opus 2020-250: Election 2020: Time Out

Take a deep breath.  Relax.  Yes, there are many attempts at voter fraud and to corrupt the election process.  At the same time there are still many people out there trying to make sure that the process works as designed.  I came across this video clip at Gun Free Zone.  It is a news report from a Florida station telling about a man who mailed in a vote application for his dead wife.  That is a felony in Florida and possibly other places.

The police showed up and arrested him and now it works through the court.  That is bad news for him and good news for the citizens of America.

Opus 2020-244: Election 2020: A Moment of Hope

I almost had a wish fulfilled this week.

I have been volunteering the last few days at our county Republican headquarters.  I am sure that the people in charge want me to push the yard signs and flags.  I do what I can but I enjoy conversations more.  I had a man come in that engaged me in conversation because he was a bit conflicted.  In 2016 he did what many of us did.  He held his nose and voted for Trump.  His wife voted for Hillary.  Now, four years later, his wife is still leaning Democrat and he was talking about holding his nose again.  I was mystified.  He understood and conceded everything that Trump has done.  There was no question of where Trump stands.  What was the problem?  Some enthused Trump supporters driving around in their pickups with Trump flags in the back yelled some things that were not polite.  Really?  That is the problem?  I reminded him he was voting for Trump not the pickup read necks.

Which brings me to my wish fulfillment.  I shared with him that one of the things I was looking for was a discussion with someone intelligent about why they would vote for Biden.  Since his wife is leaning that way and he was waffling this seemed to be my moment.  We talked for about an hour.  It was a civil, polite conversation.  I kept asking the question, “What reason would you have for voting for Biden?”  I never got an answer that had anything to do with anything but emotion because Trump supporters were enthusiastic and Trump is not always the smoothest politician.  

It is frustrating.  We want to talk facts and truth.  They want to emote about feelings.  Here was a family man who is pro-life, an ex-police officer and deeply religious.  It would seem this would be a slam dunk for Trump but, feelings.

There are times when I despair for even the good people in my country.  The Progressives* in education and the media have done a great job of brainwashing and feminizing the population.  I hope God has mercy on us, the Progressives* won’t.

Opus 2020-240: Let the Chips Fall, part 2 of 2

I am willing to let people live in the world they create.

If the Democrats were willing to take their lumps and get on with the Republic, I would say let them live in their fulfilled dreams.  Don’t bail them out.  Don’t subsidize their fantasy.  Most of the violence is in states that think Republicans are of the devil but they probably don’t believe in the devil so they are happy saying, “Orange Man bad.”  The problem is they are not willing to live in their ashes.  They want to share the benefits of socialism.  They are like the child who stuffs all their M&M’s in their mouths and then wants you to share yours.  If you won’t share then they will sneak in when you are asleep and help themselves.

The only peaceful way we can work this out is to have strong, patriotic district attorneys and judges backing up disciplines, well equipped police.  They can be the front line.  In most cases that will be enough.  Antifa and BLM are not going to come to the party if they know the rules will be enforced.  They don’t work that way.  They only play when they can cheat.  The backup will be determined citizens ready to step in if the police are at a lunch break and informed citizens who serve on juries if the response comes to court.

That is the way the rule of law works.  You make the laws.  You enforce the laws.  The chips fall to a jury of your peers and they make wise choices.

Or you have anarchy and all the death and suffering that entails.  I keep hoping for the peaceful route.

Make your choice America.  November is coming.  There will be more on the ballot than a president.

Opus 2020-239: Let the Chips Fall, part 1 of 2

There is a tendency in Americans to feel real sympathy for the people living in the areas decimated by the riots.  We see the burned out businesses and cars.  We see people who were minding their own business beaten to the ground.  We see people trying to defend their life’s work vilified.  Our hearts go out to them.

I am not so sure we should go there.  Keep in mind that these areas are full of people who elected the city councils, mayors and governors that are making the decisions that perpetuate the violence.  Did you see that key word?  “Elected”.  They were not appointed.  They did not pull a military coup.  The people elected them.  According to the Seattle Times, the city of Seattle voted 87% for Hillary in 2016.  Their city council reflects that.  How many of those businesses going up in flames belonged to people who supported the party of Antifa?  Chicago has also seen a lot of violence.  82.2 percent for Hillary.  

For Portland I could only find the county results.  Multnomah County went 76% for Hillary.  I would imagine that the city percentage was much higher.  So again I ask, “How many of the people who had lives destroyed voted for it?”  If my neighbor refuses to change his oil do I have an obligation to help him pay for a new engine?

I am guessing that if you could get the numbers from all the other places that are having a Marxist reality visit, you would find that they had overwhelming support for Hillary Clinton four years ago.  I would still feel sorry for them except for one thing that I believe:  If they held another election today the people would vote the same way.  The Seattle City Council is secure.  The same goes for Portland.  If you look at the states that are having their economies destroyed by jack booted governors I think you would find them on the path to reelection.  

The old saying was, “You get what you pay for.”

Opus 2020-214: Election 2020: This Is the Most Important Election of My Lifetime

We have heard this many times.  We hear it every election.  What we overlook is that it is always true.  Well, maybe not always, but close.  Each time we have an election it determines the direction society will go.  It has long term consequences.  Fixing things takes a lot longer than breaking them. 

So this election is important.

Each election also says something about society.  It gives a view into what our values are.  I am sure you have heard liberals quoted about how they did not know anyone who voted for Trump.  We think of the bubble they live in.  To be honest, I am not sure that since I left the classroom and California I know anyone who would admit voting for Hillary.  I need to be reminded that there are people who keep reelecting Nancy Pelosi.  I need to admit that the city councils of Seattle and Portland were voted into office.  There were 47 Senators who were willing to vote to impeach Donald Trump for no reason except he was a Republican.  We need close elections to remind us of how sick society is.  We need to lose a few to wake us up.

At the same time, no election is the end.  We worry about the Democrats cheating so much that Joe Biden is elected and Kamala Harris takes his place.  That is something worth worrying about.  I remember when Bill Clinton was elected.  We thought it was the end of the world.  It was bad but the other side of that is the wake-up call that went out.  I lived through eight years of Barak Obama.  If Biden wins it will say something about our American culture.  It will also give each of us a challenge to become a better, more involved person.  It might make things bad enough that the pain makes people respond who would never respond if they could continue in their stupor. 

So yes, it is the most important election, again.

Opus 2020-197: Election 2020: Who Is Really Deranged?

I would like to go forward in time and read about the coming election.  My first question would be, “Did Biden win?”  If the answer is “Yes”, my second would be, “Did the country survive?”  It will be interesting to see how history judges the current Democratic Party as they move toward nominating a man who obviously is suffering from some type of mental dysfunction.  It is obvious.  It is the elephant in the room that no one in the press will address.  Everyone who is paying attention knows it.  It still looks like he will be the presidential candidate for the Democrats.

This is not the first time we have seen this.  The last time was the fourth election of Franklin D. Roosevelt.  FDR had long been a cripple, confined to a wheel chair.  That in itself was to his credit.  It was a mark of courage and drive to be a successful politician with that handicap.  The news covered for him.  I don’t think there was ever a picture of him in a newspaper showing the wheel chair.  The cover up went further and became destructive.

As Roosevelt was running for his fourth term he was already failing.  At one point his doctor told him he could only work four hours a day.  He was a physical wreck and it was covered up by the Democrats around him and the fawning press.  It was a lot like today.  The evidence that he was in a bad way was that he died in office less than three months after his inauguration. 

The Democrats and the press are at it again.  With the internet and all the videos available the onus is even more on people who are willing to vote for the man.  They join in the mind set that says it is better to destroy the country than to let Donald Trump continue to bring recovery for the little man.

I think that TDS is the real mental disease.  Joe Biden just wants to be president.

Opus 2020-175: Headlines: Kanye for President

When I first saw the headline I thought I misread it or it was a misprint.  It said 2020.  Evidently that is what he said and what he meant.  I keep in mind a couple of things.  First, you can’t believe much that you read in the news.  The only thing I can be sure of is that sometime in the last few days Kanye West spoke.

Second, it was offered as a catalyst for thinking.  People have thrown the idea around before.  Maybe there is something to it.  So far I have seen nothing that adds or elaborates on the statement.

Third, it could be a joke like Trump was reported to have made about running for president.  And then the joke became reality.

I am not opposed to considering West for president in 2024.  Right now I think we need another four years of the Donald.  I would encourage West to keep the thought going and do some serious preparation.  Would I vote for him?  At this point I don’t know.  I know he has backed Trump.  It seems that his religious conversion is real.  Before that conversion it would have been an automatic “no”.  He is a successful business man in addition to his history as a Rapper.  Could be.

There will be some possible good competition in 2024.  In the politician ranks we have Tom Cotton and Jim Jordan along with governor Kristi Noem.  It would really be interesting if the different personalities could get together and pool their energy.  If we are serious about draining the swamp it will need to continue past 2024.

Opus 2020-127: Election 2020: Go Slow on Joe

I think that the Trump supporters of the country should lighten up on Joe Biden until the general election.  We know he is past his expiration date as someone phrased it.  The left knows it too but isn’t admitting it.  The danger we face is that if they admit it they will actually move to replace him on the ballot. 

The danger of that is they might be able to come up with someone they could lie into office.  Keep in mind what a great job they did with Barak Obama.  He was a man who had never done anything and was totally unqualified but was sold as the savior of the world. 

It won’t make any difference to the 47% of Romney fame.  The mindless sheep and the America haters are in the camp of the Democrats.  What did that journalist say?  Let me paraphrase, “I believe Tara Reade.  I will still vote for Joe Biden.”  Keep in mind it is not pro-Biden, it is anti-Trump.  Since you can’t have whole wheat bread without grain that means they are anti American Republic.  They may be in favor of a fascist state occupying the same physical boundaries but a land of liberty?  No way.

So lighten up on Joe.  There is still the chance that liberals still don’t see what is staring them in the face.  They are good at that.

Opus 2020-120: Election 2020: Fear and Memory

I cannot figure out what is going on when I leave the house.  I go to the grocery store and 90% of the people are wearing masks.  Why?  Most of the masks they are wearing might keep dust out if they were sanding but not much else.  The virus that they are freaking out about so far has about a two thousandth of a percent chance of killing them even if it could find them. 

Is it fear or conformity.  If it is the latter, whom are they conforming to?  If we survive this with our country intact and our basic freedoms still in place, will they remember all the governors and mayors that have gone orgasmic on power?  We need to be taking names.  I am wondering if I will be able to travel so that I can campaign against the judge that threw the solon owner in jail.  Will I remember?

There are a lot of governors that need to go.  There are a lot of mayors that need to be voted out.  There are a lot of unelected officials that need to be fired.  We have passed the primaries so we are stuck with the candidates we have.  Remember that although Republicans are part of the problem, Democrats are not the answer, at least not in this century.

The second verse of the hymn “How Firm a Foundation” has been running through my mind.

“Fear not; I am with thee. O be not dismayed,
For I am thy God, I will still give thee aid.
I'll strengthen thee, help thee, and cause thee to stand,
Upheld by My gracious, omnipotent hand.”

Obviously this is a theological statement but the attitude is what I take with me when I go out of the house.  My guardian angel never has my car warmed up for me but he is out checking my route for things I would not even think about.

Fear not, wash your hands and watch out for unicorns.

Opus 2020-115: Election 2020: Time to Clean House

I hope that America develops a memory.  We need to see some serious Vote-the-Suckers out in November.  The ones in the limelight are the governors who seem to be getting a rush by becoming petty dictators.  One of the problems with Progressive* dictators is that socialism never has worked and never will work.  No one person or committee is capable of making all the decisions that keep an economy going.  Thus we have such moronic decisions as keeping liquor stores open but not allowing people to buy seeds to plant.  Or take the move in California to allow plastic surgery but they are arresting people for going to the beach.

If you are in doubt then the best procedure is to vote against any Democrat on your ballot.  There may be some local exceptions and there are probably some Republicans that need to be reminded of whom they serve but most of the problems are enhanced by the actions of Democrat governors and city councilmen. 

Are you awake Michigan?  Are there any people with enough IQ to understand left in New York?  Does Virginia have any Americans left?  Residents of Austin and San Antonio should just move back to California.  You get the picture. 

Keep in mind that this was a trial run for many of these people.  There will be another crisis next month that you will need to be protected from and if these people don’t pay a price they will be ready to do some big time protecting.

When in doubt, vote them out.

Opus 2020-042: Sympathy, Not!

I must admit that there are times when I have a moment of sympathy for Democrats going to the polls.  Maybe a better word is pity.  I have been there.  I remember elections where I was forced to choose Bob Dole, John McCain and Mitt Romney.  I remember 2016 where there was a rich field of qualified men running and I was forced to vote for Donald Trump.  At least the last time the results were far better than I could have hoped.

I look at the field of Democrats running for president and the only one that has any redeeming qualities is Tulsi Gabbard.  At least she loves America even if she is wrong on so many issues.  How depressing is it to be forced to chose between a man on the verge of dementia and a cynical Communists.  Wow.

My feelings begin to harden though when I remember that these are the people who keep bringing us Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and all those other members of congress who have never had a real day job and have amassed incredible wealth by bleeding the taxpayers.  How can anyone who has ever had to wipe human poop off their shoe in San Francisco ever vote for a Democrat again?

If you believe morality is defined by being faithful to your marriage and feel that abortion stops a beating heart then you need to make sure that you vote to make sure that the clock keeps ticking.  Don’t worry about turning it back.  Keep it going.

Opus 2020-041: Election 2020: Time to Put Down the Popcorn

If you agree with me I hope you voted yesterday.  If you don’t then I am less concerned. 

In some ways the primaries are more important than the general election.  This is where you get the best chance to knock off the ingrown incumbents and get some real Americans into office.  It is hard to do but there are a lot of RINOs that need to find day jobs.  It may not help their day job employer much but it will certainly benefit the country.  In places where there are enemies of liberty such as Pelosi and Schiff you need strong candidates to take them on in the general election.  We only had one office that this would apply to in our precinct and we went with the opposition in the primary.  He didn’t really have a chance but it was worth a try.

The general election is coming.  If you disagree with me on the issues then I really hope you get caught up in your Hallmark movies and forget to leave the house.  This election is too important for me to advocate snowflake voting.  If you understand the insidious nature of Fake News and are angry about the way the major sources of information are trying to manipulate us then get out there and work at voting the suckers out.

Keep in mind that there are also a lot of other things we will be voting on.  I think most states have judges coming up for the vote.  Cities and counties are electing people to make decisions about daily life.  There will probably be initiatives or whatever you call them in your area that need some thinking.  It isn’t just about re-electing Donald Trump.  Coat tails are important.

For many of us it is on to November, for the rest vote carefully in your primaries.
