Opus 2026-410: Remnant Ratio

In the history of Israel there is a group the Bible labels the “Faithful Remnant.”  They are that small group out of the nation of Israel who lived in faith and obedience.  My theory is that God’s promises are limited to that group.  We see the same kind of thing going on after the cross.  Everyone who shows up for church or gets their name on the membership role will not be in the book of life.

The odds, if it were a game of chance, are not good.

The resent Holdout Juror reminds me of this ratio.  It reminds me that the number of people who are willing to stand up for righteousness is a small percentage.  It also reminds me that they exist.  We should be sad about the first and rejoice about the second.

When you are hauled before the tribunals of Satan pray that there will be a key individual who lives in the remnant.  If you are ever on a jury remember that there is no guarantee that the judge is on the side of justice and your fellow jurors may be living in Unicorn land.

Opus 2025-611: Babies, Babes, and Bonking

The Muslims tried to conquer Europe with their armies as late as the 17th century.  They failed.  Today they are slowly overcoming the continent with a combination of three things.  First of all, you have massive waves of immigration by people who have no intention of assimilation.  We can see how that’s going.  Secondly, those waves force their will upon the resident population with fear and violence.  It wasn’t organized armies, and it was done in collusion with the local governments.  The third is that they have a lot of babies.  Of these three the third is probably the strongest and most permanent wave.

Part of the package is the terrorism with the use of suicide bombers.  We’ve all seen pictures of children dressed up as suicide bombers like we might have our children dress up like Cowboys.  The kids thought it was fun.  I can understand that.  What I can’t understand is the attitude of parents, especially mothers, to sending their children off to be blown up like this.  There is a mindset in Muslim women that is beyond comprehension to those of us in the Christian West.

We see a lot of pictures of the mourning and wailing women after an Israeli air strike.  They love to bring out pictures of children being blown up by these dirty nasty Jews.  We see them crying out in agony.  I would submit that we should not be feeling sympathetic towards them in their loss because the loss is on their heads.  I’m not condoning killing children or bombing civilians.  What I’m submitting is that these are not civilians.

The women of Islam could stop the slaughter of their children very simply.  They may be women.  They may be physically weak.  They may be downtrodden by the second class status they have in Islam.  They also have cast-iron frying pans.

Frying pans?

Yes, frying pans.

One of the statistics that I find interesting in the United States is that in spite of what everybody thinks, more men are abused by women, then women by men.  We don’t know this in official statistics because men don’t like to admit that they’ve been beat up by their wives and girlfriends.  How does this happen?  Well, my understanding is that a man has to sleep sometime.  When a man is asleep, it doesn’t matter really how big his muscles are.  When an angry woman has a cast-iron frying pan in her hand, carefully planned it doesn’t matter how weak she is, she can get her revenge.

So if the women of Islam wanted to end the killing of their children all they would need to do is decide to take justice into their own hands and apply the back of their frying pan to the head of the sleeping man who sent their children off to die.  It’s not going to happen so don’t get your dignity out of the bag.  I understand that.  But when you have a culture of death where everyone is participating and the only target of your death is Jews then it may be the only solution will be self-inflicted.

So babes, if your babies are getting blown up, consider bonking.

Opus 2025-179: Dear Judge

It is time for you to police your own house.  It’s time not only because you are endangering our entire legal system but the judicial branch is undermining the Republic.  And then there’s that aspect of the possibility of vigilante justice if enough American citizens become aware of your betrayal.

I offer a suggestion because I believe that the judicial establishment is like every other part of government or business.  Most of the judges and other people involved in applying the laws are probably decent, hard-working, good faith laborers in the field.  They might have even read the Constitution.  I accept the fact that most of you are doing the best you can in a difficult situation.  I accept the possibility that you were just as upset about what you see going on with these rouge judges as I am.

The possibilities for the average citizen to clean up this mess are almost nonexistent.  The fact that you have the power to issue judicial fatwas means that the established checks and balances listed by the Founders can be stopped in their tracks.  Reforming your system from the outside, becomes either impossible or an invitation to violence.

It is time.

For the good of the country judges need to start talking amongst yourselves and using the ability you have to censor your colleagues and get this thing back on track.  Much of the paperwork coming out of the judicial system against the Trump administration is blatantly partisan and going against the spirit of the country, let alone the letter of the Constitution.

If you don’t care about the Republic, at least start reforming for your own benefit.

Opus 2025-139: Pardon Ghislaine

I keep telling people to be patient.  The Trump administration works by the rule of law.  That means they will honor due process and jump through all the hoops.  Right now we’re upset because they don’t have the list of people who went to Epstein island.  Theoretically they suddenly realized they didn’t have all of it, a whistleblower supplied the necessary information, and they have demanded the information be transferred to them.  Sounds simple, doesn’t it?

Keep in mind that one of the things that often comes up is I think, called chain of custody or something to that effect.  It means that every step of the way evidence must be accounted for, signed for, and guaranteed to be unmessed with.  That takes time, but if you don’t do it right, then some liberal judge will throw all of your evidence of the window and you’re back to square one.

Underneath my calm demeanor is a seething monster wanted to see someone go to jail.  However, the calm demeanor knows that it may take some time.

Meanwhile, if we’re not going to put the people in jail who were perpetrating the crime perhaps we should give Ghislaine a pardon, or at least a time out so she can run around and enjoy life like all of the other criminals are enjoying.

It only seems fair.  Of course a better solution is to throw the bums in jail themselves.  Preferably in maximum-security with hard-nosed criminals who hate people who mess with children.  Let them find out what it’s like to be on the receiving end.

Opus 2025-129: When?

One of the big questions that everyone is asking is “When?”

When will the Epstein files be released?
When will the JFK files be released?
When will the MLK files be released?
When will someone be arrested and indicted for all the fraud that DOGE is uncovering?

We need to understand that there is one factor at work that is legitimate but frustrating.  It is called the rule of law.  That involves due process, the 5th Amendment, a jury of our peers, innocent until proven guilty and other matters that are a part of a legitimate legal pursuit.  It is frustrating but we are the party that believes in the Constitution.  We are the party that is commited to following the law.

One thing I can be sure about with Donald Trump, he will follow the law.  If he were in the habit of taking shortcuts they would have locked him up from all the witch hunts that he was subjected to.  Have you really stopped to think about that?  For eight years the entire power of the deep state has been digging and trying to find something to put Trump in jail over.  All they could find were trumped up, if you will excuse the term, nothing burgers and bill of attainder violations.  You may not like the way he used the bankruptcy laws but everything he did was legal.  He will continue in that tradition and insist that his people do the same.

So keep asking.  Keep being a pest.  Hold the fire to their feet.  At the same time accept that if it is done right it will take some time and if it is done right it might only need to be done once.

Opus 2025-102: Shame, Shame

Have you ever been summoned to jury duty?  In California I would get called every few years.  Since I got paid for jury duty, it was no problem.  It gave me a few days vacation.  It never got over a few days because I am not a suitable candidate for a jury.

Why am I not suitable?  I don’t drink.  I know policemen.  I have had family members assaulted.  My home has been broken into several times.  Attorneys don’t like people like me on a jury.  For instance, since I don’t drink they figure I can’t make a judgement on whether a driver was driving under the influence.  I did make it on one time.  It involved a traffic accident near where I worked.  I did not endear myself to the judge.  When we were ready to go to deliberations he told us that he would tell us what our options were and basically, what we could decide.  When he asked if we had any questions I asked, “Based on what you have told us, why do you need a jury?  What are we here for if you can tell us what to decide?”  He patted me on the head and sent us on our way.

If you get a chance, do your duty.  Before you go do a little research on a topic called “jury nullification”.  The theory is that the jury can not only decide if someone is guilty but also has the options to declare them not guilty because the law is bad.  Judges don’t like that either so I would suggest you don’t say the words out loud or you will be dismissed.

Are you one of those people who avoids jury duty?  Do you pretend to be insane when jury selection is in progress?  Do you figure you are too busy?  Then shame on you.  It is hard enough to get honest juries because of the way the lawyers have rigged the sytem.  It is impossible if those who have a brain and integrity avoid service.  If you are like me and would like to see the cabal go to prison, jump at the chance to have a voice.

If called, go.  If chosen serve.  Be on the side of truth and justice not legal technicalities.

I would welcome being on the jury if Fauci ever comes to trial.

Opus 2025-100: Justice Will Be Adequate

You may have heard the biblical quotation where God says, “Justice is mine.”  I don’t know about you, but I find that somewhat frustrating when I see all of the destructive evil going on in our society.  You need to understand that this, like so many other historic statements regarding violence and justice, is to restrain us from destroying ourselves and our culture in our rage.

Let me assure you that if we can achieve even partial justice, then our goal will be reached, and our needs will be satisfied.

The problem with vengeance is it lowers us to the level of the deep state Cabal, and it’s minions.  It destroys our integrity and our right to see things corrected.  Justice on the other hand, based on the rule of law, and applied in carefully considered logic instead of hot reaction, will produce results more than adequate.  Keep in mind that justice includes the death penalty.  It is not just a way of being kind and compassionate to criminals.  True justice measures out true punishment.  It is the punishment of justice not of revenge.

So be calm, but stay focused.  If you have the opportunity to be on a jury, act with integrity.  Let justice prevail.  It will be enough.

Opus 2025-052: Pardon My Thoughts

I don’t know why I am so angry about the pardons that Joe Biden gave to all of his criminal allies and family.  It fits.  It’s so appropriate.  Why was I surprised?  I guess I thought there might be some decency buried under the piles of garbage, but I was wrong.

As I was thinking about these pardons, and if there was any way around them and still follow the rule of law, my thought went to other cases where I couldn’t understand what was going on.  I thought of how O.J. Simpson was declared not guilty of murdering his wife.  I didn’t agree with the verdict but I had not followed the celebrity case.  I was willing to grant that the jury knew something I didn’t.  I was shocked when the family of his ex-wife was allowed to sue him in a civil court.  I thought there was this thing about double jeopardy in the Constitution.  Evidently the people who are trying to destroy the protections of the Constitution decided that even though you are not guilty of the criminal charges you could still be guilty of a civil violation.  They have done the same thing using civil rights as an excuse.  It still seems like double jeopardy to me.  There were other cases where this happened.

Because of our system of common law, which is based on precedent, it would seem that it is now possible for us to use this to move towards justice.  OK.  All these criminals are pardoned from their crimes.  What about all the money that they have stashed as they betrayed the country?  Would that not be a safe target of a civil trial?  If it works for O.J. Simpson, why not for Andrew Fauci?

The left is continually perverting protections given to us by the law.  Joe Biden distorted the power of the presidency with his executive orders.  Executive orders have been a standard tool of the president to get things done.  It is simply a name for the directions being given out.  Under Democrat presidents they became tools for going around Congress.  We can continue to look at ways in which they have perverted law.  They are continually changing the rules.  The senate filibuster is either good or bad, depending on who’s in power.  They have changed the rules on judges and the budget.

We need to take the precedents that they have established and use them to try and reinforce what the Constitution is all about.  Meanwhile, the legislature should be clarifying just exactly what the law is.  My understanding is that they can limit what the court can control and explain how the law is to be understood.  They need to do their job.

There should be a way to achieve justice before the vigilantes start coming out of the woodwork.

Opus 2025-038: The Fire Shall Burn on the Just and the Unjust

I have mixed emotions and thoughts about the California fires.

On one hand I have friends who still live in the area threatened by the fire.  Another series of furious winds and they may be out on the streets.  On the other hand I have been encouraging them to leave for years and there is nothing but deeper heel marks.  It is hard to feel much sympathy for people who keep eating at a fast food place that gives them gastric adventures.

On the one hand there are virtuous, godly people who have been effected.  I believe this simply because it is hard to believe that an entire town is full of blue brained fools.  Having said that I used to believe there were still some good people in the Democrat party too.  Some fantasies are hard to unbelieve.  I feel for those people.

On the other hand the vast majority of people being burned out have consistently voted and contributed to the people and policies that made the fires much worse than they needed to be.  Many of them will vote for the hairdo again if given a chance.  The plain fact is that some people will never learn.  My sympathy runs out very quickly for those people.  I wish them well.  I hope that they do not get what they deserve, but that crosses over into the nature of evil and why people seem to be less than they should be.

Let us hope that lessons can be learned at the lowest possible price.

Opus 2024-421: Headlines: Trend or Outlier

By now I am sure you have seen the news item about a health insurance CEO, Brian Thompson, being gunned down in the early morning on the streets of New York.  The investigation continues.

The same thing is true about this that is true about so much that is reported in the media:  You can’t believe you are getting the facts or that the news agencies are asking the right questions.

Keep in mind that this took place in New York where you can’t even change flights in the airport if you have a firearm in your luggage.  It is one of the most heavily regulated, anti-gun forums in the world.  In spite of all that someone murdered another citizen in public on a main street.  The number of laws broken are longer than Santa’s list of naughty.  More laws will not take care of the problem.

What was this about?  Is this the beginning of vigilante justice, the elimination of someone who might have something to say about the Epstein list, a man in dept to the mob or just a psychopath out for some fun?  I am not sure we will know much more if it is the later suggestions.  If it is the beginning of a vigilante movement time will supply a string of similar instances.

Why bring up vigilante justice?  Different voices contribute their opinions on this.  Evidently the insurance group he worked for was well known for denying claims.  That means, if true, that there are multitudes of families in our country who have faced the specter of bankruptcy or death.  If I had a dermatologist exam denied, I could afford to pay for it.  If I need a major cancer surgery then not so much.  How valid are the supposed denials of claims?  I don’t have any idea.  We pay extra for supplemental insurance and so far it has worked well.  Others complain who did not invest in the extra level of protection.  I expect the day will come when it doesn’t work for us.  Will I go out and shoot a CEO over it?  I doubt it.

I am not everyone and the situations where people feel hopeless are bigger than insurance problems.  We have watched the legal system in our country turned into a weapon against anyone with traditional values.  We have watched the IRS deny claims to conservative groups.  We have watched obvious criminals released with little or no bail and we had a presidential candidate who was actively raising money for those who had to pay.  I am not talking about terrible crimes like walking calmly into the capital on January 6 and being gunned down through a closed door.  I am talking about looting, arson, assault and general mayhem.

People see all this.  So far, as conservatives who believe in the rule of law, we have calmed down and waited for the system to work.  What happens when the mass of Americans become convinced that the system will never work?

The incident in New York may be an indication.  Or it may have just been a liberal who forgot to take his meds.

Opus 2024-360: Election 2024: One Step at a Time

There is a gospel song sung by Christy Lane, which goes, “One day at a time, dear Jesus….”  Let me assure you again those of you who are very insecure, I am not equating Donald Trump with Jesus.  What I am saying is that we have to take this one day at a time, one step at a time.  At the present moment in the darkness of the morning it looks like we have won the actual election.  Rejoice.  Celebrate.  Have a party.  But don’t turn off your radar.  Don’t turn your back.  Don’t stop locking your doors.  Keep in mind that the deep state is there and they have at least until inauguration to keep playing their games.

So we can take deep breaths.  We can heave a sigh of relief.  We have more reason to hope for the best.  But now is the time to keep praying.  Now is the time to keep raising your voice on issues.  Now is the time to keep moving forward.

We now start the long trudge through the court system.  The corrupt judges are still out there.  They will still need to be battled.  If we can’t put a fear of the Trump in them, we need to put the fear of the Lord in them.  Keep within the law and keep your powder dry.  The battle continues.

And assuming that we make it to inauguration, Trump is installed, and the republic continues; So does the battle.  We will need to continue to extend the control of the patriotic Americans to state houses, courthouses, and ultimately, what’s the homes of America.  Keep talking to your family and friends.  Start pointing out to them the good things as they happen.  They certainly won’t hear about it on the evening news.

Opus 2024-199: A Different Understanding of Justice

Those of us who are believing Christians would agree, I think, one of God’s attributes is that He is just.

Even those who are often accused of being works righteousness oriented would agree that there is no way that we can earn our salvation.  We are all sinners, the Bible says so.  There should be nothing to argue about there.  And being sinners, it is impossible for us to pay for her own sin by working them off.  Thus God has to pay for that sin.

He has done that through Jesus.  This fits in with the teaching of the Old Testament and also with the culture of the day.

The concept of paying for sin is common historically.  One of the names, for it was weregilt.  Sin, or, in secular terms, a crime, hurt someone.  That someone had a right to demand your life, or to demand that you pay a certain amount of money.  Often the two options were considered equal.  This is true even in things like treason.  So we had a common idea that sin could be paid for by people, but that’s not in the Bible.  Biblically in some cases restitution can be made, but that does not deal with the sin issue.

Our culture has rejected the idea of sin.  They have rejected the idea of original sin or the fall of man.  Modern culture says that human beings are inherently good and decent and are only corrupted by the society they live in.  That sets up a cycle of nonsense for me.  If people are good and only corrupted by society and society is made up of people then how does it become corrupted.  Somewhere in the circle there needs to be a dissonant note introduced.  Christians put that in the Garden of Eden.  I am not sure where the secular world gets it.

Another extension of this is knotted in with the current idea that we need to save the planet from human beings.  We are a virus that is destroying the pristine beauty of the world.  Since most of these people are pagan evolutionists they have a problem they don’t see.  If man is a product of evolution, then he is a legitimate product of the primeval ooze.  Mankind cannot be evil or bad.  If we destroy the planet then it is a matter of survival of the fittest and the planet was not fit.

Logic can be vicious but only if you are paying attention.

Opus 2024-153: Why Kill?

(Psa 106:38 KJV)  And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

If you have ever heard someone with a tender heart, that was concerned about all the killing in the Old Testament, you might want to read them this verse and its context. We have no comprehension in our gentle world of the evil perpetuated by the Canaanites.  Read that verse again.  Do you see what’s going on?  I know you don’t want to see it.  I don’t want to see it either.  But it is there.

The Israelites were sacrificing their children to the idols of Canaan.  This is what we call child sacrifice.  This was a brutal and evil cultural reality of the local tribes.  It was an every day occurrence in Canaan.  This is the reason that God felt like these people needed to be removed from the Earth.  God was aware of the way in which people absorb the standards of the culture around them.

God has reasons for what he does.  We have been raised in a sheltered environment and don’t understand evil and how deep it can go.  Well, I say that the evil is going on all around us.  Picture of the millions have been dismembered by abortions.  Picture of the children used in pornography industry.  Picture the butchers of Hamas, not just on October 7, but on a regular basis.  Picture the warping our our children's minds and bodies with woke philosophies.  The evil marches on.  God is not content to let it continue.

Opus 2024-047: A New Movement Needed

What are we going to do about the coup going on right in front of our eyes.  There must be some solution other than violence.  Violence would remove the elite trying to destroy the republic but would only replace it with another junta if history teaches us anything.  Look at the French Revolution rather than the American.  France was much more typical and had a lot in common in what we are seeing in our country today.

What are we to do?

We need to start with prayer.  If you are not a believer go ahead with your “good thoughts”.  I don’t suppose it will hurt anything.  I also don’t suppose it will help much.  

Then what?

It occurred to me that we might need a little cultural appropriation.  It might be time to resurrect the Civil Rights Movement.  The original was targeting a specific group of Americans who were being denied their basic rights as citizens.  Now the goal of the elites is to destroy the rights of everybody.  It may be time to resurrect the approach.

The original Civil Rights Movement had at least three types of people.  The first was made up of true believers.  That can be taken as a pun if you want.  The original Civil Rights advocates were the abolitionists.  Many of them were devout Christians.  I think that most of the stops on the underground railroad were in the homes of believers.  This of course would cause them to be true believers in man being created in God’s image and thus they would be true believers in the cause of what became known as civil rights.

The second were the Anti-American liberty haters that infiltrated because they saw a way to undermine the Republic.  Their goal was not really to make black Americans equal.  There goal was to drag down the culture and destroy it because it was too open to actual liberty.  These are the same type of people behind the 1619 Project that pushes the lie about the country being founded on slavery.  They were very good at looking pious but these are the people who took the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and turned it into reverse discrimination with affirmative action, quotas and the modern incarnation of Diversity, Equity and Inclusiveness.  Their whole purpose is to divide the country.  At the back of their minds is the old “divide and conquer” mantra.

A Third was made up of party animals.  I remember someone interviewing some young men at an event and asking them why they were there.  They didn’t seem to be the kind that would be supporting the rally.  Their answer?  “Chicks, man, chicks.”  They came for the girls.  There were a good number of people involved in the Civil Rights Movement who were there for the excitement, and yes, I would imagine the chicks.

The resurrection of the movement would need to adopt the non-violent principle.  Anyone who was involved would need to understand that there would be persecution and suffering.  There would also need to be a strong element of faith and prayer led by devout believers.  Would it work?  I don’t know if it would “work” but I am not sure we have any choice.  The alternative is to sink into a morass of totalitarian barbarism.  

Does that mean there would never be an element of force?  No.  Remember how slavery was brought down starting in England and going around the world?  William Wilberforce and his devout Christian friends campaigned for 30 years to get results.  They did it peacefully.  That worked in England but in order to attack slavery around the world the British navy came into play.  It was a form of gunboat diplomacy.  In order to keep from being attacked the countries of the world had to agree to outlaw slavery.  Some places in the world just won’t respond to reason or moral arguments.

I don’t know how it can be organized but until it is we need to keep praying, standing up, speaking out and making a difference in our corner of the world.

Opus 2023-016: God’s Bad Guy List

How does God deal with disobedience?  We know the ultimate result, hell and eternal damnation.  But there seem to be many lesser approaches.  I think this is because God prefers repentance to damnation, but there is only so much He can do.  Sometimes He works with plan B.  Sometimes the last chance has come and gone.

What are some examples?

Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden.  Sometimes our actions generate a response from God and there is no turning back.  Adam was destined to start working for a living and Eve to go through childbirth.  I am sure that they repented many times and I am just as sure that God forgave them but the banishment endured and sin was released on the world.  Let that be an example of what we might expect.

Shortly after that Cain murdered his brother.  God punished him with some kind of a sign to keep people from killing him.  There is no indication what that sign was.  The only thing I can think of is literally a magic billboard hovering over his head.  So he was punished but still a target of grace.

The Bible is full of examples.  

At the tower of Babel the people were divided by language and forced to spread out.

Anybody not on the ark with Noah was destroyed.

When you move into history we can date you have Sodom and Gomorrah.  Although they were not given a chance to repent, God at least was willing to spare them if there was a righteous seasoning.

When some of the Jews rebelled against Moses they were swallowed up by the earth.
David lost a child because of his dalliance.
Nebechanezer ate grass for years,
Judas was condemned for eternity.  Jesus did not try to reason with him just as he let the Rich
    Young Ruler go his way.
Paul was blinded for a few days
Annaias and Saphira were struck down.
Obviously this is not an exhaustive list.

The severity depended on whether God knew you would repent or not.

If the punishment was not fatal, the length of time depended on how long it took to repent.

God is serious about people living righteous lives.  People are serious about not living righteous lives.  In this battle of the wills God will only be so patient.

Opus 2024-004: Whom Is Being Measured

If you are reading the prophetic portions of the Bible, one of the major themes is the disobedience of Israel and the punishment God has in store for them.  Usually it is a call for repentance as much as a threat of destruction.  Usually it is ignored.  Modern America has a lot in common with ancient Israel.

How does God measure the spiritual status of a nation.  Take Israel as an example.  Which has more influence on God’s decision, the attitude and actions of the king, or the attitude and actions of the general population?  How much original thinking did the ancient Jewish people do?  Were they just repeating what their betters said or were they reading and deciding on their own?  I don’t know if we can know but the result seems to be the same:  Rebellion and rejection.

I’m thinking in terms of the nation of Israel and the evil that appeared so many ways.  Does God come down on the nation because the king is evil or does he reject the nation because the people turned away from him?

It makes a difference to us today.  If God only considers the elites, we are toast.  There are very few people at the top of any segment of our society that even pay lip service to the God of the universe.  Once you get down to where most of us peel our potatoes the numbers change a bit.  

The book of Proverbs points out the kind of attitude that is necessary,

(Pro 30:8-9 KJV)  Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:  Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.

There is a sweet spot in the middle of the wealth spectrum that we need to be in.  One reason that the top 1% ignore God is because they are so full that they don’t think they need God.  At the other end you have people who get desperate and do even stupider things than ignore God.  We want to be in the middle ground.  We want to be there not just for our personal well being but for the health of our nation and ultimately our world.

I hope God is more patient with us than He was with Sodom and Gomorrah.

Opus 2023-223: Old Time Solutions

When I was a kid I was taught that the police were my friend.  We watched Dragnet, Perry Mason, 77 Sunset Strip and a long string of shows that told us life was fair and we had a bright future.  

I guess I have grown up to face reality or reality has been changed.  Either way I am watching the heroes of the FBI become KGB operatives.  I want to avoid any brush with the court system because all the ones that make the news are agents of the Fascists in charge.  There seems to be nothing left to do.  People are talking revolution and civil war.  Those generally don’t work out very well.

I have a suggestion that might help:  Bring back the tradition of dueling.

I have been interested in the click bait about a fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg.  I don’t think it will ever happen but it shows the possibilities.  If you could call someone out instead of needing to hire a lawyer then we might see a lot of things change.  

Who would not like to see Donald Trump challenge Merrick Garland to a duel.  If he was the challenger then Garland could pick the weapons.  A dawn meeting could be televised with the proceeds to pay for funeral expenses.  Of course Garland might choose air-soft pistols at 100 yards but you get the idea.  

Think of all the government officials we could deal with and not have to worry about going to jail.  It might make some judges think twice before they ignored the law.

I am sure details would need to be worked out but it could keep the republic from disintegrating.

Opus 2023-222: Time for Show Trials

We need to discipline our comments about Covid.

First, in our daily organ recitals and pain reports, we need to stop blaming every ache and pain on Covid.  It is just another virus and, like the Devil, it is neither omnipotent nor omnipresent.  In spite of all the hype and panic the virus remains little more than another flu virus.  People who are at risk die from the flu.  That is what happens when you have one foot in the grave already and a few toes from the other side.  We need to stop feeding the monster.

We need to keep demanding an accountability to the criminals who knowingly poisoned a population, and even worse, a generation.  The danger was obvious long before the government and media would admit it.  They used the bully pulpit and our tax money to threaten and coerce anyone who would call attention to the facts.  As I have read several places and will repeat for you here, they were not wrong.  Then were not mistaken.  They knew and they lied.  When you deliberately do things that cause damage and death in real life you are held accountable.  The same should be applied to these monsters.

Among the would-be elitests who know what is best for us, the dockets need to be filled with these parodies of humanity.  Let the trials begin.

Opus 2023-210: Principles Trump Laws

In Proverbs 8 wisdom is declared to have existed from before creation.  

Does that mean that the laws of physics are a part of wisdom?

Does that mean that the Ten Commandments are a part of wisdom?

This made me think about how some talk about the Ten Suggestions.

Are the Ten rules or principles?  We tend to think that principles are easier to manipulate but for the honest soul it is just the opposite.  If you understand the principle behind the commandment then you are able to apply it in righteousness through a multitude of unforseen situations.  In fact, you are required to apply it.  A law only applies to a specific case, a principle is universal.  A law can be worked around.  A principle guides you.

Of course the issue is the heart doing the applying.  Anything can be manipulated.  That is why the Christian walk is dynamic, personal and demanding.  Anyone can follow ten commandments but only those in touch with the Spirit of God can live the Ten Commandments.

We see this going on in our court system.  It has become a game of law instead of a seeking of justice.  The results we see are not those that indicate truth has been achieved but that the best gamer of the system has put another merit badge on his chest.

I often recommend voting out incumbents.  I think that goes double for judges.  The federal judges cannot be touched.  They serve for life.  We might investigate impeachment and establish some new laws if necessary.  State and local judges are usually required to stand for reelection.  They can be removed and in many cases need to be.  Consider that when you get ready to vote.  Look for input on the judges.  That is one of the ingredients in taking back our republic.

Opus 2023-183: Cornerstone Considerations: D of I, Banana Justice

As I read through the Declaration of Independence I came across this complaint,

“For depriving us, in many Cases, of the Benefits of Trial by Jury:”

There are a number of ways you can deprive someone of the “benefit”.  The most recent example is the accusations of the patriots who made the mistake of trusting the policemen who invited them into the capital.  I have not followed the events called trials but I can imagine how the jury would be selected, evidence manipulated and law interpreted by a judge that was interested in political show trials more than law and justice.  It was blatant in the Congressional hearings.  I assume that the courts had no more evidence so it must have continued.

Did they get a fair trial?

Or take the police that took down George Floyd and kept him from rampaging through the city.  With all of the media circus, threats toward the jury by the mobs, refusal for change of venue and other clown acts, do you really feel the trials had anything to do with justice?

Donald Trump has been harassed by everyone with a law degree and a government paycheck.  He is being dragged through the courts while the same judicial system ignores the blatant crimes by their Democrat handlers.  Does this have anything to do with any kind of justice except banana justice?

You know the kinds of things I am talking about.

Maybe it is time to read the first paragraphs again.
