Welcome to Varied Expressions of Worship

This blog will be written from an orthodox Christian point of view. There may be some topic that is out of bounds, but at present I don't know what it will be. Politics is a part of life. Theology and philosophy are disciplines that we all participate in even if we don't think so. The Bible has a lot to say about economics. How about self defense? Is war ethical? Think of all the things that someone tells you we should not touch and let's give it a try. Everything that is a part of life should be an expression of worship.

Keep it courteous and be kind to those less blessed than you, but by all means don't worry about agreeing. We learn more when we get backed into a corner.

Opus 2021-248: New Terms: Vaccine

Yes, I know you think you know what the term means.  However, we are in the age of deconstructionalsim.  You may not know it because it is not broadcast.  I have mentioned it several times but let me give a quick refresher.  Deconstrutionalism is an actual school of philosophy or social science which says that the words mean what you want them to mean.  Words have no inherent meaning but change with the viewer.  A phrase that illustrates this that we can all understand is, “Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.”  Take that and apply it to a word like “vaccine.”

When I write about the jab they want us to get I am avoiding calling it a vaccine because it isn’t a vaccine and it isn’t even approved as of this writing.  It is a total experiment in human biology.

Historically a vaccine is a medical treatment that is developed by introducing a pathogen into a living creature, allowing it to produce antibodies as it fights the toxin and then use those antibodies to produce a serum called a vaccine.  A vaccine generally gives you a mild form of the disease so that your body can produce its own defenses.  The first significant vaccination I am aware of was to fight small pox.  The vaccination was created by using the coxpox virus.

There are always side effects to medicine.  A vaccine can cause death in some people.  The question asked is “Do the benefits to the population as a whole warrent taking the risk in the few.”  If you are one of the few, it sucks to be you, but the rest of us thank you.  Legitimate medical science carefully weighs the benefits with the dangers.  That has not been done with the current wave of falsely named “vaccines.”

The current list of “cures” for the China virus are not vaccines.  They are instead made by manipulating the genetic material in your body.  In an age before Health Hysteria this would have been considered unethical.  Now it is the panacea.

So the manipulators keep calling them vaccines.  That means the word now has a new meaning.  As the warning label to things like bleach and ammonia might say, “Use with care.”

  1. Hello Pumice...It's Lynney. I read you everyday. Today, again, I agree with what you post. As an old RN, I have taken many "vaccines" during my 40+ yrs. of work, as required for me to work safely in all my hospital settings. Retired now, with a touch of heart disease, I continue to take the yearly flu vac and have taken the pneumonia vac (I was a lifelong smoker..lungs can be iffy)...All in all I consider myself healthy now. I gave the covid vac great thought..I talked at length with my primary doc, and finally decided to take the 2 Moderna vacs 6 mo. ago..put my masks away forever and am living my normal quiet life (very quiet as I like it). I believe at my elder age, if a vac wants to alter my DNA, well give it a try but God's will walks with me as always.....I believe what is coming, for me, is all up to Him. *just a note: I will not be getting any boosters I am done doing what my instinct and nursing knowledge has told me to do. I feel well and enjoy life one day at a time. Sending blessings to you and all of your family. Please keep writing! It's important!!!

    1. My daughter has a friend who's husband is a non-quota doctor. His read was that if you are over 65 one of the jabs might help. I think the idea was that the damage it might do won't have time to develop. I am one who has diabetes in what I call "remission", lost my weight 10 years ago and have a pacemaker. I am not willing to risk the downsides to man made experimental drugs. And of course we have the Providence factor.

As to being an old RN, those are the best kind. I think most of us would prefer the advice of a pre-affirmative action RN to a current MD

    2. As an "old RN", I tend to question constantly and to self diagnose..LOL! It drives my Primary crazy, but so be it....I'm a great believer in gut instinct and I always listen to that. *smile

    1. I have not talked to him in a few months. If you are on Twitter or Facebook you might look for him there. I don't do either one so I can't use that resource.

    2. Thanks for that info. I was permanently suspended from Twitter 1 year ago..boohoo..LOL! I still dabble on FB to see my close friends but rarely ever post there. Life is so much better without any type of social media interference!!

    3. Permanently? You must really be a threat to their take over.

      Good job.

Comments are welcome. Feel free to agree or disagree but keep it clean, courteous and short. I heard some shorthand on a podcast: TLDR, Too long, didn't read.
