It occurred to me as I was driving along admiring some of the cars around me that it really doesn’t matter what I think of those machines. I will never buy a new one. And when it comes to buying an old one I’m looking for what’s most economical and reliable. Looks and style are of little importance to me. So why should a car manufacturer care what I think?
Extend that to fashions. Not only do I have no sense of style, very few trendy clothes are made in my size. I like your hat. Do they make it in 7 3/4? Do they make those cool shoes in 17? Wide?
My opinions are of little value to the marketers. My family for some reason doesn’t get this. Where do I want to eat? At home. Sandwiches make my day.
I will still feel free to express what I think. That is the main reason to do a blog. If it is important to me I can express it. If it strikes a cord in your mind, well and good. If not, then maybe next time.
