Behind the last door you find the baby Jesus, but He is not made of chocolate. He is molded of pure gold. This is the moment called “the fullness of time”. This is when “the Word became flesh.” This is the incarnation.
Christmas season is a glorious time of year. The day chosen to celebrate becomes almost mystical. When we went to a Christmas Eve service yesterday I almost came to tears.
Embrace family and friends. Lift praise and thanks to God. If you are one of those who is alone then embrace in your heart. I rejoice that it is easy for me to say. I feel no guilt but my heart goes out to you if you cannot join me.
Merry Christmas. Joyful incarnation. The Lord is come.
