Today we have another little chocolate foot behind the door. This is the other foot. It belongs to John the Baptist who is yet unborn. In spite of that, being just an embryo to the women’s lib crowd, he still had the awareness that the competing embryo of Jesus was getting close. He just wanted to say, “Hello”. Or maybe it was “Praise the Lord”. It certainly sounds Pentecostal.
Knowing the future in store for him I think it was a good thing that his parents were so old when he was born. I think they had died before he was executed. Their joy was never shattered.
Enjoy the good things that God gives you. It is possible that He has plans you are not expecting but trust Him to know what He is doing.
Merry Christmas
