Welcome to Varied Expressions of Worship

This blog will be written from an orthodox Christian point of view. There may be some topic that is out of bounds, but at present I don't know what it will be. Politics is a part of life. Theology and philosophy are disciplines that we all participate in even if we don't think so. The Bible has a lot to say about economics. How about self defense? Is war ethical? Think of all the things that someone tells you we should not touch and let's give it a try. Everything that is a part of life should be an expression of worship.

Keep it courteous and be kind to those less blessed than you, but by all means don't worry about agreeing. We learn more when we get backed into a corner.

Opus 2021-127: Pauses for Pitter-Patter

It has been ages since I have posted.  I keep having ideas but not finding the time and energy to write.  It has been a glorious time.  My grandchildren were staying with us and they deserve a lot of attention.  I don’t know how many times I sat down, flexed my fingers and started to write when there would be the pitter-patter of little feet and big eyes would be looking up at grandpa.  My ideas got pushed aside and I began building little characters.

Blogging is an ego expression anyway.  I think most of us write because we have something to say and we can’t get anyone to listen.  That is healthy as long as we don’t get our lives out of balance.

The kids have finally gone.  Now all I have is a wife recovering from hip surgery and a country turning into a Marxist state.  They both need some attention.

Comments are welcome. Feel free to agree or disagree but keep it clean, courteous and short. I heard some shorthand on a podcast: TLDR, Too long, didn't read.
