Welcome to Varied Expressions of Worship

This blog will be written from an orthodox Christian point of view. There may be some topic that is out of bounds, but at present I don't know what it will be. Politics is a part of life. Theology and philosophy are disciplines that we all participate in even if we don't think so. The Bible has a lot to say about economics. How about self defense? Is war ethical? Think of all the things that someone tells you we should not touch and let's give it a try. Everything that is a part of life should be an expression of worship.

Keep it courteous and be kind to those less blessed than you, but by all means don't worry about agreeing. We learn more when we get backed into a corner.

Opus 2017-413: Headlines: Hypocrisy Is Bipartisan

I think the title of the article in the Washington Times demonstrates the kind of hypocrisy we usually see in modern Democrats,
“After Roy Moore’s loss, Republicans turn wrath against Steve Bannon”
Roy Moore lost.  He lost by a minuscule margin.  It was a minuscule margin after unrelenting, unsupported accusations by the entire media establishment.  It was minuscule after all the moderate Republicans, read RINO, did everything they could to cast dispersions against him.  It is amazing that he was close given the mindless response of the masses.

Roy Moore lost.  Now everyone is trying to say it is because he is a flawed candidate.  Maybe he would not have been so flawed if the people who were supposed to be non-partisan were not so flawed.  Maybe he would not be so flawed if the people who were supposed to be his allies did not keep stabbing him in the back and then complaining about the blood.

Maybe.  But Roy Moore lost.  The big question is, “Who won?”  Not Jones.  Not Alabama.  Not the United States of America.  The elite establishment won.  Character assassination won.  Dirty politics won.  Corrupt journalism won.

Republican elites have always been after Steve Bannon.  Roy Moore’s loss is not the cause, it is the result.

  1. I suspect that if all the illegal votes were disallowed, Moore might have won.

    1. I saw you link and checked it out. When I went back a second time all I got was a blank page. I went to the site itself and could not find the article. Are we looking at Goggle censorship or just my browser?

Comments are welcome. Feel free to agree or disagree but keep it clean, courteous and short. I heard some shorthand on a podcast: TLDR, Too long, didn't read.
