Welcome to Varied Expressions of Worship

Welcome to Varied Expressions of Worship

This blog will be written from an orthodox Christian point of view. There may be some topic that is out of bounds, but at present I don't know what it will be. Politics is a part of life. Theology and philosophy are disciplines that we all participate in even if we don't think so. The Bible has a lot to say about economics. How about self defense? Is war ethical? Think of all the things that someone tells you we should not touch and let's give it a try. Everything that is a part of life should be an expression of worship.

Keep it courteous and be kind to those less blessed than you, but by all means don't worry about agreeing. We learn more when we get backed into a corner.

Opus 2014-116: The Revival of Paganism, part 7 of 7, Conclusion

Is there an answer?  Yes, but it is rejected even by the majority of people who attend church.  If we would simply follow the standards that were laid down in the Old and New Testaments we could see a radical transformation of society.  It would be for the better if you have a traditional view of morality.  Most people don’t, so they don’t want to see it.

Take almost any issue.  It could be anything from littering to childhood prostitution.  Find out what the Bible says that reflects on it.  Adjust behavior.  The problem would be solved.

Welcome to the new world, the new age, the post modern era.  Actually, it isn’t new.  Go look at the decadence of the Roman Empire to get a preview of what to come.

    1. I would prefer revival to revolution. Revolutions have a habit of replacing one tyrant with another.

      Grace and peace.

Comments are welcome. Feel free to agree or disagree but keep it clean, courteous and short. I heard some shorthand on a podcast: TLDR, Too long, didn't read.
