One of the questions is often in my mind is the nature of prayer. I have a hard time with the shopping-list form a prayer. To me it is much more of a conversation, a relationship and ongoing communication. As I sit on the porch, basking in the presence of God, I find that much of the time I don’t need to say anything. Much of the time I don’t even need to follow a train of thought. It is often enough just to sit and know that I am in the presence of Almighty God.
