God exists outside of time. He was before and he will be after. He is eternal at both ends.
Why did he invent time? Was it just for the joy of creating? Was it because the creatures he created in his image needed the structure of time? Was it because some of the things he wanted to do that he would enjoy required the structure of time? I won’t say, “We will never know” because we may get a chance to ask in eternity, if we still care.
In eternity will we ever be outside of time? I can’t comprehend it. I guess I will just have to wait to find out.
