Welcome to Varied Expressions of Worship

Welcome to Varied Expressions of Worship

This blog will be written from an orthodox Christian point of view. There may be some topic that is out of bounds, but at present I don't know what it will be. Politics is a part of life. Theology and philosophy are disciplines that we all participate in even if we don't think so. The Bible has a lot to say about economics. How about self defense? Is war ethical? Think of all the things that someone tells you we should not touch and let's give it a try. Everything that is a part of life should be an expression of worship.

Keep it courteous and be kind to those less blessed than you, but by all means don't worry about agreeing. We learn more when we get backed into a corner.

Opus 2023-069: Communicating

I have been noticing that a lot of people seem to be having trouble with Blogger and it having a mind of its own, or maybe we should say a lack of a mind.  It makes me wonder about a few things.

I have left comments and often see one of two results.  Sometimes the comments show up with no response.  Other times the comments never show up.  It could be that the blogger is too busy but it also could be that Blogger is messing with them.  Either way we need to make sure that we don’t take it personally.

I have noticed that because of the security my son has on my computer that there are times when I am blocked from leaving replies on my own blog from inside the blog.  It is necessary for me to turn off the security, leave a response (or comment on another blog) and then turn the security back on.  As far as I know I have responded to every comment left on my blogs.  So if there are issues I think we need to give each other the benefit of the doubt, stay positive and keep on posting.

Of course it could just be that we are all anti-social.

Comments are welcome. Feel free to agree or disagree but keep it clean, courteous and short. I heard some shorthand on a podcast: TLDR, Too long, didn't read.
