Welcome to Varied Expressions of Worship

Welcome to Varied Expressions of Worship

This blog will be written from an orthodox Christian point of view. There may be some topic that is out of bounds, but at present I don't know what it will be. Politics is a part of life. Theology and philosophy are disciplines that we all participate in even if we don't think so. The Bible has a lot to say about economics. How about self defense? Is war ethical? Think of all the things that someone tells you we should not touch and let's give it a try. Everything that is a part of life should be an expression of worship.

Keep it courteous and be kind to those less blessed than you, but by all means don't worry about agreeing. We learn more when we get backed into a corner.

 Opus 2023-016 Death Wish

I think Blogger has a death wish.  They keep taking a perfectly useful platform and “improving” it or making adjustments for other reasons.  There are things I used to do with one click that now take three.  There are features I like that are gone.  Eventually there comes a time when people have had enough.  Some give up.  Others move to another platform.

I am hoping that another one has not bitten the dust.  One of the first blogs I got onto was Gorges’ Grouse.  He has gone through a lot since I started communicated with him.  Now it looks like he is ready to give up.  It looks like he has removed all of his posts and folded up shop.  I hope he is still active on Facebook.

I will continue to pray for him.

  1. Gorges commented a week or two ago that Blogger was giving him so many problems that he thought he'd just stop posting. I really, REALLY miss his posts, but will also continue to pray for him. I hope he's ok.

  2. I think there are a lot of people who are going to miss his contributions. I am hoping that he is still on Facebook and they will start pestering him.

    Grace and peace

Comments are welcome. Feel free to agree or disagree but keep it clean, courteous and short. I heard some shorthand on a podcast: TLDR, Too long, didn't read.
