Welcome to Varied Expressions of Worship

This blog will be written from an orthodox Christian point of view. There may be some topic that is out of bounds, but at present I don't know what it will be. Politics is a part of life. Theology and philosophy are disciplines that we all participate in even if we don't think so. The Bible has a lot to say about economics. How about self defense? Is war ethical? Think of all the things that someone tells you we should not touch and let's give it a try. Everything that is a part of life should be an expression of worship.

Keep it courteous and be kind to those less blessed than you, but by all means don't worry about agreeing. We learn more when we get backed into a corner.

Opus 2021-191: Projections: Brazile Style

I have mentioned the psychological term “projection” which means putting your feelings and values on others.  I came across a great example of that in The Daily Wire.  The topic of the post was Donna Brazile moving from FOX to ABC.  They quoted a statement she made in 2019.

“There’s an audience on Fox News that doesn’t hear enough from Democrats,” Brazile said in 2019, the year she joined Fox News. “We have to engage that audience and show Americans of every stripe what we stand for rather than retreat into our ‘safe spaces’ where we simply agree with each other.”
If that isn’t projection then I am a Democrat.  She has basically taken the condition of the left and laid it on those who are still not brainwashed.

I don’t know if she lives in such a bubble that she believes herself or if it is just that experience has taught her that she can get away with such stupidity.  It is hard to tell with Democrats.  It is one of the big questions I have in my life.

I wonder if they think the same thing about me.  I wonder if they think.

Comments are welcome. Feel free to agree or disagree but keep it clean, courteous and short. I heard some shorthand on a podcast: TLDR, Too long, didn't read.
