Not being a bird I can’t be sure what is going on outside my window. It could be a mating ritual. It could be competition over territory. It might be a favorite seed that is being argued over. It could be birdbrained games. I don’t have any idea.
My attention was flagged by repeated motion. It needs to be repeated or I don’t bother looking up. I am at a stage in life and finances where I buy some glasses at the dollar store and wear them over my prescription bifocals. It makes the regular part of my spectacles into reading glasses. It works and it is cheap. The problem is that in order to see anything further than the computer screen I need to take off the auxiliaries. It isn’t worth the effort for one little shadow chasing across my peripheral vision.
But they kept going, so I took a look. It was interesting but it didn’t do much more than feed my enjoyment of the trees and wildlife outside my window.
I will settle for that today.

I suppose all of us who wear glasses have been called "four-eyes" as least once. Does that make you "six-eyes?"
ReplyDeleteIndeed. When the kids at school thought it looked weird I would pull out a couple more pair and put them all on. I have been up to 12 eyed. I have no dignity.
