(John 3:16 KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.Although God hates sin it is clear that He loves even those who reject Him.
The Koran has a different approach. First a general statement.
“Whoso is an enemy to God or his angels, or to Gabriel, or to Michael, shall have God as his enemy: for verily God is an enemy to the Infidels.” Sura 2, “The Cow,” verse 98At other places it gets even stronger.
“Let him who thinketh that God will not help His Apostle in this world and in the next, stretch a cord aloft as if to destroy himself; then let him cut it, and see whether his devices can bring that4 to nought at which he was angry!” Surah 22, “The Pilgrimage,” verse 15Notice that this is instructions for non-believers to kill themselves.
