Welcome to Varied Expressions of Worship

This blog will be written from an orthodox Christian point of view. There may be some topic that is out of bounds, but at present I don't know what it will be. Politics is a part of life. Theology and philosophy are disciplines that we all participate in even if we don't think so. The Bible has a lot to say about economics. How about self defense? Is war ethical? Think of all the things that someone tells you we should not touch and let's give it a try. Everything that is a part of life should be an expression of worship.

Keep it courteous and be kind to those less blessed than you, but by all means don't worry about agreeing. We learn more when we get backed into a corner.

Opus 2023-216: Alternative to Division

The rule of law has been perverted by the Proregressives*.  The chances of getting any kind of justice on the federal level has almost disappeared.  If you are involved in something that has nothing for the left to steal and the stakes are small, you have a chance.  Anything that the mysterious elites lust after they will destroy you to grab.

So the republic is dissolving right before our eyes.  It is wide open where it will end up.  One of the solutions being discussed is dissolving the union.  That would involve dividing into at least two countries but it won’t be that easy.

How do you divide?

We can never divide into blue states and red states.  I am in Texas.  We have the People’s Republic of Austin as our capital.  What do you do with all the California expatriates if Texas pulls out of the union?  In Texas, as in all states, the cities are blue.  If the divide became violent then it would not be a civil war between states but a general free for all.

Perhaps we can develop a city-state polity.  Let Austin, New York, Chicago and all of there brothers in the blue be independent and go their own way.  Let the Americans in the rest of the country go their own way.

We can avoid violence if the blues will just let the reds alone.  Liberty loving Americans are not looking for a fight.  The problem is that the blues refuse to leave us alone.  Freedom offends them.  A large group of non-elites living in prosperity and with options offends their sense of entitlement.  It isn’t even about sharing the wealth.  They want it all and will not be satisfied until the deplorables are rounded up and assigned gulag quarters.

Duly elected Republicans and any Democrats with a shred of decency can still pull the chestnuts out of the fire.  They can start impeaching anything that looks like it has ignored the Constitution.  They can get their lawyers out and start filing law suits on every level.  If they can find this many things to indict Trump on just imagine out much they would have on the J6 junta and all the three letter agencies.  Aren’t most members of congress lawyers?  They don’t even need to hire anyone.  Do the job yourselves.

Act before the country reaches the point of no return.

  1. A problem with the city-state arrangement is that the cities cannot supply their own food, so will demand that the outlying areas bring it to them. In reality, they probably COULD raise their own food, but would not be amenable to figuring out how to.

  2. I guess we would need to build walls to contain them and make sure they stayed inside. We would be willing to sell them food if they had anything worth paying with. We could also offer free transportation to the socialist paradise of their choice where they could enlist for farm jobs.

We could supply them with peanut butter, cheap bread and all the yams and organ meats they want.

I am willing to work out a solution.

    Grace and peace

Comments are welcome. Feel free to agree or disagree but keep it clean, courteous and short. I heard some shorthand on a podcast: TLDR, Too long, didn't read.
