Welcome to Varied Expressions of Worship

This blog will be written from an orthodox Christian point of view. There may be some topic that is out of bounds, but at present I don't know what it will be. Politics is a part of life. Theology and philosophy are disciplines that we all participate in even if we don't think so. The Bible has a lot to say about economics. How about self defense? Is war ethical? Think of all the things that someone tells you we should not touch and let's give it a try. Everything that is a part of life should be an expression of worship.

Keep it courteous and be kind to those less blessed than you, but by all means don't worry about agreeing. We learn more when we get backed into a corner.

Opus 2020-302: Headlines: FBI to the Rescue

I have seen a news article about the FBI raid involving computer fraud in the Arizona election.  I tend to read the headlines and move on but one mentioned that they had seized some hardware.  The idea of the article was that law enforcement was on the march.  I link one from something called the PT Network.  I link them because they are not famous.

The FBI is doing something.  Cheers and clapping can be heard in the gallery.

Not so fast.

Remember the Weiner laptop with all the evidence about corruption in the Clinton world?  Remember the DNC hard drive?  Remember Hunter Biden’s laptop?  The last was in FBI possession for a year with nothing but crickets.

The thought crossed my mind that the purpose of the FBI raid was to grab the evidence and make sure that it was “lost”  or forgotten in the process.  Call me a cynic.  Call me a realist.  Too often they seem to be the same thing.

  1. Brings to mind one of the last scenes in Raiders of the Lost Ark, where the Ark of the Covenant was being stored in a huge government warehouse.

    1. Maybe we should have the FBI start looking for it.

Comments are welcome. Feel free to agree or disagree but keep it clean, courteous and short. I heard some shorthand on a podcast: TLDR, Too long, didn't read.
