I noticed today when I logged on that Google was informing us that they would soon have a new and improved sign-in page that will have a “more modern look and feel.” I am already wondering how many more clicks and buttons will be required to get done what I am already doing. Notice how optimistic I am. I assume I will figure out how to do what I am already doing.
It reminds me when I was forced to move from my first computer, a Kaypro using C/PM. It was at least a decade before Windows caught up with some of the things I had been able to do. It is the modern idea of progress.
As they say, sit down, hold on, shut up and enjoy the ride.
