I had the joy of being invited for Thanksgiving and being able to say, “No.” Actually, the question was, “What are you doing for Thanksgiving?” I was able to run down the list of grandchildren and children. It was a wonderful moment.
Think of it as taking an inventory of your blessing portfolio. You always wonder if you have invested your life correctly. I know as I have gone through the years there have been times when I had serious questions. There have been times of doubt and even moments of despair. Through it all I have pursued the goal of living by faith.
My portfolio shows a glorious return.
The numbers are not overwhelming. I only have two grandchildren but what they lack in numbers they make up for in quality.
I hope your life investments have paid off. Have a blessed Thanksgiving.
