The January 6 “hearings” are frightening, or they should be to average Americans. They are right out of the Communist play book. That is why you see the term “show trial”. It is used historically to refer to the series of trials put on by Stalin in the Soviet Union around 1937. They were done with great theater and attention of dramatic detail. They were widely publicized and made open to the public and the media. They were all circus and no justice.
Aleksnandr Solzhenitsyn goes into a lot of detail as he describes them. One of the things that stood out to me was this statement.
“The only witnesses heard were those of the prosecution. Defense witnesses were not permitted to testify.” p. 351You would wonder if he was talking about 1937 or 2022. Welcome the Amerika as morphed by the Democrats and Rinos. You may not be able to change the clown show but you can wake up and stay that way. Keep in mind that wake and woke are not the same thing.

Hello Pumice...just dropping in to say "Hello". I read your blog every day and really enjoy it! You always give me a lot to think about ....and sometimes a joyful giggle :) I don't watch much TV now days, all that wokeness and all...I spend my time reading, streaming tennis (I'm a huge Rafa fan for last 15 yrs.), trying new recipes ( I love to cook). I often think of Vincent Ton and wonder how life is going for him...my grandson is on his way to Stoney Brook to get his Masters in physics. At my age I never want to wish time would speed up but honestly can't wait for November...praying that it will bring a fresh start for America! Hope all is well with you and yours :) Happy Blogging! God bless!ReplyDelete
Thanks. There are times when you wonder if anyone is really reading but if that were the reason for writing most of us would soon dry up. I keep saying I am going to call Vincent but tomorrow never seems to come. November can help. What we really need is for the church to wake up.ReplyDelete
