Welcome to Varied Expressions of Worship

This blog will be written from an orthodox Christian point of view. There may be some topic that is out of bounds, but at present I don't know what it will be. Politics is a part of life. Theology and philosophy are disciplines that we all participate in even if we don't think so. The Bible has a lot to say about economics. How about self defense? Is war ethical? Think of all the things that someone tells you we should not touch and let's give it a try. Everything that is a part of life should be an expression of worship.

Keep it courteous and be kind to those less blessed than you, but by all means don't worry about agreeing. We learn more when we get backed into a corner.

Opus 2020-294: New Terms: BBI

I think it is time to redo some names and titles.  We need to give honor where honor is due.  Think of all the streets in the country that have been named after MLK and Caesar Chavez.  Make a list of all the schools that have had name changes because the Cancel Culture does not like them.  The list grows every day.  Maybe we should get on board with this.

Instead of Federal Express we can have the Banana Express.  Savings and Loans would become Banana instead of Federal.  We could refer kidnaping cases to the BBI.

This election has put the Chiquita seal on our Republic.  What could not be stolen was bought.  What could not be bought was coerced.  It was like watching a Marx brothers comedy being played out in real life.

I still have hopes that President Trumps team will win.  If he does then he will need to get serious about firing people, indicting people and unmasking all the traitors who have been getting away with murder, literally and figuratively.

Meanwhile, America leads the way even in rigged elections.

Comments are welcome. Feel free to agree or disagree but keep it clean, courteous and short. I heard some shorthand on a podcast: TLDR, Too long, didn't read.
