The bluebonnets are still going strong. They appeared almost overnight a few weeks ago and are still poking up their blooms in unexpected places.
Yellow stuff is everywhere. Last year I tried to identify them but they all look like some kind of daisy and I can’t figure out if the differences are significant or not. They tend to be the first up and the last to go away.
Indian paint brush has taken a leap. They were clustered in front of one house but yesterday I noticed that a couple had come up around the corner.
There are some whites, pinks and purples mixed in.
It is a beautiful time to take a walk in Texas even if you don’t know all the names.
