I am on the road, but up at 4:00 A.M. Lights and TV turned on by some mysterious force might have something to do with it, but I am up. Fox News was on and the story was that Governor Brown of California was going to ignore President Trump and have California continue to abide by the Kyoto agreements on climate change. He has been meeting with Chinese leaders and evidently there are eleven states doing the same.
I left California because of this type of nonsense and I am glad I have gone. At the same time I want to support California’s right to be stupid. The Constitution does not say only the federal government can show stupidity. Idiocy is not mentioned at all, so it is reserved as a right of the states. This should be an example of Federalism at work. President Trump calls the Kyoto guidelines “job killers”. I agree, but Governor Brown and the other governors are free to prove him wrong.
Meanwhile I am on the road to Texas. All those companies that might have started up in California or expanded in California are welcome to look at my new home state as an alternative.
To be continued...

It's their own throats those states and cities are cutting. I say let them and let them suffer the consequences while other states prosper.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could think of a way to keep them from bailing themselves out if they ever take control of Washington again.
DeleteGrace and peace.
