Opus 2024-018: Marriage Conflict

Marriage has a lot of issues that need to be dealt with.  I was reminded of this when I walked into the kitchen and found a fresh stick of butter with a huge divot out of the middle.  My first question was, “Is there something wrong with the end of the stick?”  Of course, having been married for 48 years, I never uttered the question out loud.

Think of all the things you either argue about or just learn to ignore.  The classic is those who squeeze the toothpaste from the middle of the tube, but there are other causes for divorce.

Roll TP under.

Fold underwear.

Raisins in chocolate chip cookies

Temperature for butter and cheese.

Well done or rare?

Peas in tuna-fish casserole

I am sure I could go on but my wife might come in and catch me.
