I can’t run a mile, but then I never could. I can’t even run 100 yards but I have enough money that I don’t need to beat people to the last item on sale.
I can’t lift 100 pound sacks of cement any more. That weakness is more than compensated for by having the wisdom not to try.
When I think of retirement benefits I don’t just think of a pension and Medicare. I think of things like daily naps, grandchildren, being called “young man”, and knowing better.
Enjoy the anticipation or the payoff.
