I am putting a set of wings behind flap 13. It is supposed to represent the Heavenly Host that appeared to the shepherds. Then I had a thought, actually a question, “How do we know that angels have wings?”
So, since I don’t have much of a life, I did a search and did not find “wings” in the same verse with “angel” or “angels” anywhere in the Bible. I found that the dawn has wings. It talks about God having wings which I assume is figurative. I seems to say that the king of Assyria has wings. Again, I assume that is figurative. And of course we have the cherubim who are thought to be a type of angel.
So, whether or not angels have wings, God made it possible for them to gather in the sky over the shepherds and give a glorious concert. That might point out to us that even if we don’t think we have the “wings” we need to do the job, God will enable us. If not, then He would not have assigned us the task.
