We were greeted yesterday morning by the announcement that Ivana Trump, Donald Trump’s first wife, has died. My condolences go out to the family. It is a tribute to her, as well as him, that the children of that union have turned out so well. A major ingredient in how I evaluate people is the way their children turn out. I know nothing about her other than that and she becomes five stars because of it. I felt that the gracious comments by her ex said a lot about her and about him.
It was interesting to note that she was married several times and the time with Donald Trump was far longer than any of the others. I take that as saying something about him as a husband and the children as a good indication of him as a father. All of this goes to say that he is a good man at heart.
Life moves on. When someone famous dies it is a good time to stop and remember the unfamous people in our lives. It is also a good time to examine how much time you give to those still alive.
