Years ago under Bill Clinton action was taken allowing women to serve in combat roles. At the time there were critics who said this would open the door to drafting women. Of course the left called them hysterical but now we see that it is becoming a reality.
According to the Daily Wire one of the actions by the Senate Armed Services Committee included this change. That comes as no shock to me. What should have shocked me, but didn’t really, was that most Republicans on the Committee went along with it. The two Senators who are lifted out as vocally voting “no” on the change were Tom Cotton of Arkansas and Josh Hawley of Missouri. Those two names should tell you what the right position for Republicans was.
If you are curious the article gives a list of the Republicans who voted each way. Of course you can assume that all Democrats voted “yes”.
It is embarrassing to still be a Republican.

So leave the party.
ReplyDeleteI would need to come back every time there was a primary. That makes me think of a good name for the new party we all could join, The Grouse Group.
