Does it really matter if underwear is inside-out?
Shirts are hard to button and pants have pockets that are hard to access in that condition. Underwear works the same both ways. Backwards can be a problem and upside-down is a non-starter, but inside-out?
Think of the many things in life that we work at getting so-so. Does it really matter if a pillow case is inside out? Why does it matter which side of the plate your fork is on and whether the knife blade faces out or in? Why do we fold underwear? Which comes first, brushing or flossing?
While we are pondering life issues, which side of the top sheet goes up?
Keep in mind that some people mock the Scholastics for debating how many angels could dance on the head of a pin.
