It is strange how commercially produced cute sayings can carry real impact. When I see them in the store I ignore them. When I get them from my descendants I melt. By my desk hangs a plaque that says,
“Great dads get promoted to Grandpa.”Cute. Mass produced. Thousands made. It still gets the heart strings tuned.
Don’t tell anybody because I might lose my title of cynic.
