Opus 2021-129: Wildflower Watch: A New Entrant

The Indian Paint Brush has appeared on our hill.  So far it is just a few red blooms.  I am hoping for more.  I have not been watching the wild flowers in Texas for long but it seems to me that we might be headed for a light season.  The blue bonnets are short and scattered.  I am wondering if the extreme cold is having an afterthought.

The inch worms are making up for the lack of flowers.  They are letting themselves down from our oak trees on threads like spiders.  They are crawling the walls and getting mashed into everything.

Spring is here.
