Opus 2020-061: Four Horsepower

We live in interesting times.  I almost wonder if it is the end times.  Will Trump be the Anti-Christ?  Will the trumpet sound?  Will the New Jerusalem descend from heaven?  People have been asking those questions for at least 2000 years.  Of course they have substituted all kinds of names for “Trump” but you get the idea.

Recently I wrote a post about locusts causing famine in Africa.  It struck me that we have a classic time to remember the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.  Evidently the concept comes from the sixth chapter of Revelation.  They represent pestilence, war, famine, death.  If you think about it we have all of them greeting us on the internet every day.

So is it the end or is it just business as usual?

Wash your hands and watch out for unicorns.

  1. I used to ask the Lord to hold off for things I had unfinished and for the yet unsaved. Anymore, I don't ask for His patience.

    1. I am working through the Old Testament and it is amazing how many time God says He is also tired of being patient.
