Opus 2017-317: Where Are the Headlines?

I would like to congratulate the Trump family for the addition of a new grandchild.  My wife must have seen a blurb about it on TV but when I went to check it out it was not announced on any of the major news sites.  I am still waiting for my first grandchild so to me it seems like a big deal but Bush Derangement Syndrome, excuse me Trump Derangement Syndrome, seems to be working in full force.  If you have trouble with the President as a grandfather how do you deal with the first lady being a grandmother?

Maybe I just missed all the celebration.  I know the Drudge has been heralding the birth of another left wing, celebrity hate fest as the Personalities got together to raise money for hurricane relief.  As if such an event was news.

And they claim to have raised $14 million.  The money is being managed by something called Comic Relief USA's Hand in Hand Hurricane Relief Fund.  Now there is a charity that instills confidence in the hearts of Americans.  Maybe it is for hurricane Ironic instead of Irma.  At least it instills confidence in those who believe that anyone who does not accept global warming should be punished.  They also seem to still believe that Islam is a religion of peace.  They also need a safe-space every time the words president and Trump are mentioned together.  Actually, just shouting “Trump” will make them need a sniff test of their Pampers.

So sincere congratulations to the Trumps and sincere sympathy for the Hollywood celebrities.  I hope that some of the money they “raised” actually helps people.
