Whom are you gonna believe, the report of record sales by Ivanka Trump’s clothing company or all the stores that cancelled her clothing line because it wasn’t selling? Drudge linked to this item at The Hill. The list of companies that cancelled her designs is long. Her company cites “reporting record sales figures”. I have already read that her jewelry line was topping Amazon.
Is this a continuation of what would have happened or is it another example of how Donald Trump has played the news media for an almost free presidential campaign and lots of exposure now. Are people buying her styles in rebellion or because they like them?
Does it matter? She is paying taxes and building the economy.
Eat your heart out Nordstroms, Neiman Marcus and all the others. This is a common thread on the left. They make movies that no one wants to see and lose millions. They put on TV programs no one wants to watch and lose millions. They cancel clothing lines that would make them money and lose millions. Yet they continue on.
Where is their money coming from? Maybe we need a congressional investigation.

Maybe we do.

I'm surprised no one ever talks about Donald Trump's own clothing line. I wonder if sales whether or not sales are going up or down...
ReplyDeleteMy son tells me that Trump was the one who introduced the red "power tie" idea. Maybe he doesn't talk about a clothing line because most of us are not buying Donald Speedo's.
