We will not be guilty of procrastination in the next life.
Manana is a Spanish word for “tomorrow”. It means that I will get to it later. The reason that works in this life is that often when we procrastinate the unpleasant duty will go away. If nothing else we will die before we are required to get it done.
That won’t work in eternity. There will always be a tomorrow or, if there is no tomorrow, today will extend forever. You will be forced to do it eventually. Putting it off will not make it go away. As a result we will learn to go ahead and get it done.
I don’t know if that is encouraging or depressing.
