Yesterday morning on a talk show I heard that there is some kind of noise over Trump saying “One Corinthians” rather than “First Corinthians”. I was guessing it was something from the debate. I got the impression that the media types were making a big deal about it. On the way home I heard it on another program and found out it was from an appearance at Liberty University.
It is just more smoke and mirrors.
The reason I didn’t get the whole context in the morning is because I was listening to a sermon by Alistair Begg on my I-pod and tend to go back and forth to the radio. The reason I say “smoke and mirrors” is because Begg, one of the more popular preachers on the radio, always says “One Corinthians”. Since he is from Scotland I assume it is part of his British heritage or it might even be exclusive to Scotland itself.
I am not a Trump fan. He certainly doesn’t need me to defend him but this kind of nonsense just gives the talking heads something to distract us with instead of substance and issues. Instead of focusing on vocal mannerisms I wish they would lay out all of the different positions Trump has taken over the years.
But then that might get people thinking and the MSM certainly doesn’t want that.
