Recently I repeated the statement that no two snowflakes are ever the same. For the moment we will overlook that because it impossible to check. Just take is as one of those great scientific statements. Forget that little man in the back room comparing and filing snowflakes.
My questions is, “Are there ever two cornflakes that are exactly the same?” Does the statement about snowflakes also apply to something as unromantic as cornflakes? I wonder if it would have been repeated if the original observation been about breakfast cereal. When you think about it, it would be impossible to make two of anything that are truly exactly the same.
I hope that doesn’t burst any bubbles.

What about dandruff flakes?
ReplyDeleteIs dandruff still around? I know it was one of the great fears of the 60's, or so the TV ads told us. I wonder if bald people have more, or less dandruff.
