Opus 2015-199: Headlines: A School that Works

This is inspiring.  I went to it from Urgent Agenda, June 21.  The site gave the source but did not link it.  It is found on a site called Here and Now.

A school of low income, minority students in Watts sends all 68 of its graduates to college.  This tells us it can be done.

Look at all the things that public school denies as being helpful:  All boys school, religious school, required dress code, students start about two years behind, and what public schools claim but don’t implement, high standards.

You might want to forward the article to every school board member that you know about.

Comments are welcome. Feel free to agree or disagree but keep it clean, courteous and short. I heard some shorthand on a podcast: TLDR, Too long, didn't read.
