She kept talking about how glorious it would be if the US were bilingual like Canada. I pointed out that such "diversity" was bringing Canada almost to the point of civil war. She didn't care. Diversity loves feelings and hates facts.

Grace and peace.Pumicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05226427953642942426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7774578704070563428.post-74690734776190571282012-12-18T17:07:03.082-08:002012-12-18T17:07:03.082-08:00If we think that cultural diversity is a good thin...If we think that cultural diversity is a good thing, all we have to do is look north to the annimosities between many of the French-Canadians and the rest of Canada. Many of the French have a bur up their backside the size of Texas because of their ancestors being mistreated by the British a couple hundred years ago. Much like blacks here call themselves "African-Americans," due to their ancestors being slaves, and believe that modern white people owe them something. In both cases, maintaining the divide weakens the nation.Gorges Smythehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08777621500611603786noreply@blogger.com
