Some excuses are better than others.
I think I mentioned I was on the road. I was traveling up to my brothers house and I was going to try and see him in the hospital. He died when I was still about 400 miles away.
I don’t offer this as an excuse. It is just a way to explain why I have not been real consistent over the last few days. I changed plans and course at 3:00 in the afternoon and ended up driving12 hours to get here. Even sleeping later than usual I am the first one up, and I have a front porch to sit on and see a lake between two houses.
I don’t know which way I’m facing. The sun is not quite up, but the sky is light. In spite of my ignorance, God is here. The entire family up here is in love with Jesus and so while it’s hard to lose someone, we are all living in the Hope with a resurrection to come.
It really makes a difference.
