From what I've read, he started the campaign as unsaved, but was converted during the race. If true, we need to accord him the same learning curve that we'd allow ANY new Christian. Of course, there are some so-called Christians who feel the need to condemn him to hell regardless.
I am pleasantly surprised at the number of people that are coming to see him in a positive light and angry at the "never Trump" crowd that would rather see the country dragged down than give him any credit. People like George Will that used to be conservative seem to be struggling to get back in the spotlight.
