Opus 2015-177: Headlines: A Solution to the Migrant Problem

A headline on Drudge took me to an article on Yahoo.  It seems that the Pope is concerned about migrants and wants the nations of the world to accept them.  Since I know that Pope Francis would not want to be accused of hypocrisy, my suggestion is that he practice what he preaches.  I suggest that the Vatican open its doors to migrants.  The Vatican is recognized as an independent country.  Many people don’t know that.  I am guessing that there are many parts of the huge edifice that have empty rooms.  I would ask him to invite all those who are heavy laden to move in and put down roots.  He could then find ways to feed them and entertain them.  It might keep him busy enough to stop making statements about global warming.

It would also relieve pressure from on countries and might give him some opportunities for evangelism among the group.  It sounds like a win/win to me.

    1. From that I assume you are not a Catholic and don't live in the Vatican.

  2. Like a homeless guy told me once, "A win/win isn't always a win/win for those around you. Look at me." To this day, I have no idea what he meant by that. Must've used my dollar to buy some drugs.

Comments are welcome. Feel free to agree or disagree but keep it clean, courteous and short. I heard some shorthand on a podcast: TLDR, Too long, didn't read.
