Opus 2015-176: Headlines: A Glimmer of Hope

Again I track from the Drudge Report, this time to National Review.

Many of us who consider ourselves traditional conservatives have been upset at the way in which the Republican leadership in the House and Senate seem to be getting in bed with the president.  Maybe they need to come out of the closet politically, but that is another topic.  What gives me a slight glimmer of hope is the group of Republicans that seem to be standing up for what they were elected to do.

I don’t know how much clout they have and because I live in the People’s Republik of Kalifornia my vote has little influence, but I am encouraged that at least someone is standing up to the Rinos and Progressives that are leading this country to socialism.

I want to thank the states that still have enough Americans in them to elect these people.

  1. "Live in hope, if you die in despair," was one of my mother-in-law's sayings.

    1. Keep in mind that I like to visit thrift stores looking for useful junk. I guess it is part of my training for politics.

      Grace and peace.
